i had stuttering problems too wen i was playing dis game too... i had the settings as u and the same res on a HD 4650 and it wud sometimes freeze for a fraction of a second. i wud carefull watch the FPS rating given by fraps running in the background and it wud report 40-50 FPS.... i have read about it in many places too it does have stuttering problems

hey pedro 3 factors can cause game freezing, firstly gfx drivers, unlikely but possible,secondly psu only being 450 watt, can cause moments of lag on high cpu usage, thirdly and top of the list is background programs running. regardless of how fast your cpu is, background programs can still take up your precious processing power.

if you buy a new card you should take one of the best cards, the 9 series or the newest 4 series

the only good 9 series is 9800x2.. 9500/9800gt uses the same chipset as 8800gt so its like "a rose with another name". gtx is horrid.. get 4850 i say

the 9800 GTX+ is better than the 4850 and all it needed was a 50 mhz clock on the core, a 150 mhz clock on the shader, mhz 50 for memory and a die shrink to 55 nm which isnt all that much

actually you'll find in a lot of benchmarks run that the 4850 and 4870 outdo the 9800gtx

one thing is the dx 10 without AA is no difference to dx 9 and can slow down ur comp. another is i recommend at least a 8800gt and 3gb of ram because i only tried it with a geforce 8400 gs with 4 gb of ddr2 and it still went slow. also watch the post process type (not quality) set it only to default (unless you have an 8800 gt or more which can handle that intense lighting).
