i disagree...if that were the case he would have admitted he had a record too...instead he camoflouged it as "taking this stand"...i think hes a smart cookie...no pun intended

He has said that he was doing the indie music thing in many interviews before and after. I don't think it was a camoflouge. But that's my opinion.

i find it hard to believe a guy with an indie label and a band just shows up with no intentions....kind of like kathy lee cook saying she had to sell her horse to audition

I kind of believe it. I think it was running in the back of his head that this is a big show and his music and style can get out there. But I also think, he didn't want to do the show, knowing how fast his fame would come and go

i dont....i think as the "rocker" type hes now trying to portray himself as the "reluctant idol" so he can maintain some kind of street credibility

like i said this guy is shrewd...

btw i was surprised by archie....hes all class, if i was 17 and lost id have been balling and stomped off the stage

yeah this was only my second year watching...i just enjoy the spectacle of it all...i actually cheered like i was watching a sporting event when carly got booted

I enjoyed Carly. I think she did a better overall job than Brooke White.

I also thought Mike Johns was robbed. They kept Sanjaya on a charity week but the next year, after applauding themselves with how charitable they are, kick someone off..

i loved the way everytime they showed her hubby hed be in a very poorly lit area of the studio to hide all his scary tats

Broke is so right, the both Davids are not even comparable. I love them both!, they are different, and very talented on their own ways: Archie is funny, romantic, strong voice, his piano thing.... And Cook is sexy, hot, rocker, his guitars stuff, his green nails sometimes, red hair, fancy... And the thing about the Carly's record, it is such a big deal?, what about Cook's Analog Heart? and so, it seems fear to me that they can had the AI lifetime opportunity
