Hi, hope you're still visiting YouTube. I have one quick question... what is the model of this CPL filter? I just bought HOYA 67MM PRO-1D CPOL DMC FILTER and I can't really notice so much difference in sky/clouds contrast/saturation like in your video sample, when turning the outside ring.
@skojklja I don't remember the exact model but it's heliopan. The effect depends on how high the sun is and which way you point the camera. The effect is strongest when pointed 90 degrees off from the sun. These are just my experiences but you can find web pages explaining more about the CPL filters.
@mazofi Thank you for the prompt respond. Yes, I was pointing North, and the sun was on the East, around 10 am. I was watching some sample videos, and found Hoya HD Circular Polarizer providing a lot better saturation/contrast ratio than this PRO-1D I purchased. I will be going back to the store, since I have 15 days to return/exchange it, and I will take HD version which is $20 more expensive, but IMHO well worth the money. I would go with Helipan brand, but not easy to find it here in Toronto.
Great video keep up the good work.

It really is a short video but it's also really helpful. Thanks.
