Sensationalizing? Is this a joke? If that was the case, why does Rosarito have a large military checkpoint just south of the landmark hotel? Why have over 35 thousand Mexicans lost their lives since Calderon declared war against the cartels? I'll give you that Rosarito Beach is fairly safe, and for the most part, a nice little beach community, but due to it being so close to Tijuana, it can be unsafe at times.
