@bch1234 Hello Anne Mari! This video is made at the request of the man who built this guitar, so of course I used his creation. The Raya Pardo will make its video debut once I decide what type of strings work best on it (any advices)?
@spronev: This version is recorded at about 1/2 the distance the first one was made. So that certainly makes a difference. Also, Robert's guitar has more volume (at 5 months) than the other one has at 28 years. But to be fair, the Brandt has a far wider tonal palette, which took many years of hard playing to burnish in. That quality doesn't translate very well to a video played over a computer system, however.
Thanks so much for recording this for me, and dedicating it to me. This is deep, powerful music. I get chills and sighs listening to it. How can a bald guy have this much feeling? Don't you need to have long hair and be half starved to be this intense? Just kidding :-). It's very gratifying that a guitar I made can make such beautiful sounds. Your playing inspires me. I can't say which version I like better, they are both great! Thanks again.
@rsengland: "long hair" is in the long past, although there is a photo of me c. 1975 with shoulder-length hair. Sad to say, I have never remotely looked undernourished...... Thank you for your contribution (e.g., the guitar!) to this performance.
Beautiful !!!!
But where are your Pardo-guitar ???

I also like both versions - they are different. This one sounds more clear and the last one sounds softer.
