i dont play halo anymore, but when your at the campaigne lobby and have a level picked, you just click i think its x, just look near the bottom of the screen where it normally says like hit A to continue, B to go back and shit and i think it tells you there

all you have to do is pick it up. Then just drop it and get on with the level. Later, when your going back through campaign, BEFORE the level starts and your at the screen where it shows you and all the people in the game, you can press X. and it brings up the screen (at the begining of the video). From there you can toggle on or off the skulls you've picked up throughout the game.
