  • You're a living library. Thank you for sharing all this useful information.

  • thanks for watching!

  • Thanks for posting your point of view..

  • nice MOT five *'s as usual

  • rockafeller was a big contributor at the university of chicago

  • I remember all those things. I remember the high prime rates, the Opec oil embargoes that skyrockted inflation. I remember the 87 crash, (we had a quotron in the office) I remember the first wave of Deregulation and the havoc it caused. I remember 11% unemployment in the 80's. I remember the S and L crisis and people gettinging kicked out of their homes by the thousands. I remember it all, and it could be much much worse this time.

  • Thank you MOT for reminding the hierarchy that their higher purpose originated with the pursuit of truth.

  • finally, i search everday for new videos from MOT!

  • Well, there is a new one on my website right now.

  • good luck your with your website MOT.

  • yeah, china seems to be doing well in the economy all things considered.

  • China can support itself. They produce everything themselves. That is what really matters.

China and Asia will do just fine.

  • They still have to buy food.

  • The times I've been to China taking trains back and forth, I've seen more farm lands than I could count.

    China's got food.

  • Also, have you ever seen the areas in China where they have to hand pollinate the pear trees because the farmers killed all the bees with pesticide? Scary, good for jobs for now though. Since the bees are gone, they have to hire people.

  • Where's your source? That's sounds ridiculous.

  • PBS, it was on just a couple of weeks ago. It was a show on bee colony collapse syndrome and what happens without the bees. The action in China was ridiculous, but when the bees died, the government told the farmers they would have to hand pollinate. Otherwise they won't have pears to eat.

I had another post, but it's missing now. I'll recap: China imports half the world's exported soybeans, 10x more than Japan, 2x as much as the year before. That's going to happen in other commodities.

  • Well your on PBS, search for The Asent of Money, a must for most.

Also, China has an excess lquidity problem, and it is going to go boom. There is no way China is going to hold up the rest of the world;s economy.

Side note. America needs to raise tariffs on every import if we want to have to sustainable future economy. Free trade is what sucked the life out of America, the weak Presidents of the early 20th century did not stand up the benefit of the once great Nation of America, so here we r

  • thereallurker - On a positive note though, the Chinese have enought hands to hand pollinate, do not forget that.

On a more serious note, in years to come, China will be like the US in the past, sucking up resources in ever increasing quantities.

  • The chinese are leasing huge tracts of land in south America and Africa for the sole purpose of growing their own food supplies. Plus, these oprations are run by chinese only. Lots of food for thought.

  • The rate that prophecy is being fulfilled or being set up to be fulfilled is almost breathtaking. "There are no emergencies for those who are truly prepared"

Jude 1:14~ Behold, the Lord comet with ten thousands of his saints.

What a blessed generation we are to be able to watch God's word being fulfilled in our time.

  • Great post again MOT. I'm very grateful. I just sold my sugar stock and made a good profit but its a small positive in a pretty bad portfolio to be honest. I'm getting out in a controlled way.

Interesting about the harvard scholar. He really reacted in quite an immature way. Its a spiritual reaction i think. I've seen it in others. I'm in New Zealand right now. Its not too bad here currently. We had interest rates at 11% not that long ago. They are around 6% now. Jobs are being moderately lost

  • I've been watching your videos for a few months now and I just wanted to thank you for what you do sir. Wonderfully informative material! Take care and keep the truth coming :D

  • Thanks for supporting the truth marblezone!

  • Why is everyone so focused of the communist China, we American's need to be looking inward trying to save whats left of this once great Nation State. We need to stop importing and raise tariffs so that American production can grow. If we take a look at the communist manifiesto, all the aspects mentioned within it, are taking hold of America right under the American people without a hint of rebellion, it makes me sick!

The Death of the Nation is Free Trade! Not to mention un-sounnd money, peace

  • Amen on the manifesto. Most Americans have no clue that it has been fully implemented here.

  • We don't have a Free Trade agreement with China. We have Free Trade with countries that have about 8% of the world's GDP, and half of our exports are sold to these countries. That shows Free Trade is very good for the US. The trade problem with China isn't because we have a free trade agreement with them.

  • OK, but is not America suferring from outsourcing jobs? Then the products that are imported into the US are not taxed at a high enough rate in order for American products to compete. My my point is that America needs to concern itself with domestic production, and in order for sustainable competetion with cheap labor, it needs to have high tariffs. This concept moves toward a solution to some fundamental problems facing America today. Peace

  • Why do you want Americans to have cheap labor? Don't you want them to have highly paid labor? I mean that's our money.

  • Huh? I think you might have misread my comment and/or I mis wrote. OK, 1st, America(any contry for that matter) has to have a policy that place tariffs high enough so that American companies will not make any benefit from cheap labor since the high tax will eliminate that. Once that is in place America will self sustain itself from within, instead of depending on other countries. It will produce and consume the goods, cost will go down, thus the need for high wages is irrellivant. Peace

  • Evil is very scared right now; imagine a golden age where each must live by their own loves and labors? A world where usury is a failed concept of past financial and spiritual imprisonment?

  • parsnip

    and

    truffle

    soufflé...

    the decadence

    of denial

  • Superb video, can't wait for the next one! Thank you.

Oh and the new website looks great ;)

    All the best, be blessed.

  • The devil does control most things in our world unfortunately, but that will all change one day.

  • Truer words were never spoken. Amen and Amen!!!

  • great video.

  • thanks, numba. Check out the website we are building right now. Launch tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Make sure the link is on your profile here.

  • Yes, they knew about it before the collapse. And they know about what's coming now. We are going to have to go after every one of these criminals and get them before they get us.

  • So, here's a cargo ship, that managed to evade modern naval and air surveillance, and the Russians and the US are working together for the first time in years to find this ship. What is it about this ship? Could there be rogue actors from the Russian military on board? Operating on behalf of other powerful actors in this drama? Does this represent a threat to the US mainland? Keep watching this story because it there could be a major incident developing around it.

  • Just as an interesting side note, following the hijacking of that Finnish ship? The claim is piracy, but the ship isn't carrying very valuable cargo. The ship was boarded in the Baltic, under the noses of five modern navies, escaped into the English Channel, under the noses of two more modern navies, and has dropped off the radar. It was seen near the Cape Verde Islands, but little else has occurred since. US and the Russian navies are involved, so it's becoming a bigger international event.

  • your fingernails..they're..perfect..clearly a sign of good nutrition!

  • MOT: we agree that yeilds are going to 20%+---why not bet on a direct shift upward in the yeild curve then? a lot less risk then shorting the 30 yr, plus, the payout is greater (via yeild curve options)? Be blessed!

  • That was 23 years ago.

  • MOT, You have to devoid yourself of the emotional attachment you have for the world system or you'll find yourself with bouts of depression which you know can be very powerful. I look at things from an eternal perspective and these are exciting spiritual times and an opportunity for a generation which has profited from the excess of the 80s and 90s to reinvent their priorities and learn to be more thankful. Families are growing closer and friendships God is good in times of plenty and lean

  • I agree. Our judgement and priorities have been clouded by this luciferian, limited liability, materialistic system. We need to be thankful for the non-man-made world around us and get back to what some would call the garden of eden.

  • Spurge, you judge me 100% wrong. I love and thrive on living in these endtimes. Thanks for your support, but you missed it on how I feel.

  • There is a reason for the response, "You think the devil controls everything?" :)

  • Hi MOT, I have read that the reason interest rates skyrocketed in the early 80's was because the bond market was collapsing, and there was simply no other choice but to raise rates. Do you see interest rates as the next bubble here? and if so, wouldnt that mean the US dollar goes on a bull run contrary to the mass belief?

    Thnx

    Great stuff BTW

    THnx

    Great stuff by the way.

  • We are experiencing the bull run in the dollar now and it is causing some deflation.

  • Yes....

  • Can something compromise with evil and not become evil? If I accept a drug dealer's money knowing how he got it does that not make me an accomplice or at the very least a sanctioner of his methods? So if Harvard is a result of Bankers efforts do you embrace or reject their teaching? It's always good to know your enemy, it's not always so good to use his methods. Grace and peace MOT.

  • Knowledge is Power. Harvard was great and I am glad I attended. The reach of HBS is far and wide. It is impossible to have the experience without attending the full two years. I did it and it has been a super thing for me.

  • Indeed.

The whole world and the various world systems and subsystems thruout time and history...and even this current world system..are under the control of the elite and their dark spiritual masters. They still will be until the end of the 7 year Tribulation period: which will be a time of judgement and war on unbelievers, the existing world system, and the fallen angels. The 70th week of Daniel. And at the end of this Tribulation period and the 70th week->the return of Jesus Christ.

  • I would agree that knowledge is power. I would also agree that it is not the tool but how it is used that makes it evil or good. Like spider man says with great power comes great responsibility or better stated For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more. (Luke 12:48).. You wear it well MOT.

  • MOT great video. I am making a large bet that the yield curve is going to do a massive parallel shift upward in the next 5-10 years. Much better risk/reward then shorting the 30yr or any direct interest rate collar trades.

  • Thanks for your input. I disagree. I yet think that the time will come when the 30 bond short will be the trade of a lifetime...if you can cash it in on time.

  • Is it dangerous to short bonds when theres a chance for major deflation like last fall? I mean there is no truth to the market. It seems like with commodities they are up because there is some miraculous recovery factored in. Any time little bits of truth like the US consumer gets out, prices plummet and the dollar strengthens.

Would high interest rates be bullish for the dollar? Like it would get people in trouble that short the dollar?

  • I have not made my official short the bond call yet. Deflation is happening right now in many ways. Many are only looking at inflation. Not yet. MOT

  • Didn't Harvard start as a religious school?

  • Yes. Thanks for noting that. Started in 1635

  • MOT Its my understanding that we cant raise rates this time because servicing the national debt would be too expensive and thats basically the end game for America.

  • They will be raised no matter what. The markets will raise them if the fed does not. You will see interest rates you have never seen before, right here in America!!

  • MOT, you say, "The markets will raise them(interest rates) if the fed does not.

What other forces will cause interest rates to skyrocket?

I know I know the answer, but I temporarily am perplexed.

  • People not wanting dollars. U.S. interest rates are based on dollars. As the dollar collapses rates will skyrocket.

  • Really nice, I am looking forward to some Q and A time

  • Comment removed

  • thank god we have the most informed people in history who have taken it upon themselves to question what is really happening in our society. Mot thanks for your take on things whether they be right or wrong, they make you pause an think.

  • Thank you MOT for putting this out there. When do you think China will make the sell-off? Are we already in the midst of it? Thank you.

  • Complete Disclosure would require more than several thousand hours of video. Don't have time for that.

  • MOT - Why do you always exaggerate to such extremes? Requires several thousand hours of video? Ridiculous comment. It is not that difficult to explain.

    BTW - 1000 hours = 41.7 days @ 24 hrs non stop.

Nothing is that complicated, LOL. . And you need how many thousands of hours?

  • OK, tell me about God. What does He/she look like?

  • I made my comment with respect to interest rates. The reply by ebut620 was for complete disclosure about the prime rates at current levels compared to 60's & 70's. To discuss religion intermingled with monetary policy is an endless back and forth thought exchange. I have learned a long time that capital and religion do not mix very well, lets just leave it at that since we have totally opposing views on that topic.

And now you are asking me about what god loooks like?

  • God is the Father.

  • perhaps because videos are made with a length of minutes or hours. The literary license of using thousands of hours instead of 41.7 days is apparent to most.

If one were to change MOT's comment to your way of talking: ..."requires 41.7 days of video recording" is truly ridiculous. In fact, it would be inaccurate because people don't stay up for 41.7 days doing videos non-stop.

Your statement would be extremely dramatic and, in fact, inaccurate. the end.

  • Clarissa - You interpreted my post excactly the way it was intended, just like MOT's post was.

  • Does HBS have secret occult groups like Yale does with the skull & bones? (you guys know where GWB and John Kerry had sex with skeletons and homosexual acts in coffins)...

  • Nope

  • Yet, more Hardcore truth again Brother. And now, to the meat of the meal....I'm ready for the tutorial!! Thanks!

  • That DVD I made is pretty intense. This is the first time I have ever had any of it on the net.

  • excellent video MOT! I really like the historical references and your experiences -- especially re: your question to the banker on the '87 crash.

  • Conform or be Cast out.

  • Major Amen!!!

  • Hi MOT, Thanks again for all the wonderful insight. I always look forward to your videos. A voice of reason ! FYI - China now has commercials on TV that encourage the population to buy silver !? The implications are staggering considering silver is a small market compared to gold and then all the other commodities. Add hundreds of millions of new potential buyers and Wa -La....scarcity. Get it while it's NOT hot.

  • Thanks for the perspective and info!

  • I love China.

  • Thanks for showing the old headlines. They don't remember! I sure do. That's why I'm here in Europe, and prepared to move East.

  • How can money be so cheap today and no one question it?

  • who's going to question $1 beers at a pub? It was a party and everybody partied there ass's off in an orgy of McMansions, SUV's Vegas vacations, Flat screen tv's et al. Now the party is petering out and we have a big mess to clean up.

  • GREAT QUESTION!!!!

  • pretty interesting... keep 'em up

  • Five Stars!!

  • MadBad, you rock! Thanks again! manoftruth

  • this is going to be fantastic info. already started great thanks mot

  • In passing, I caught the price of that copy of the Wall Street Journal - 25 cents! Things sure have changed.

  • I think it shows 35 cents. Still very low.

At first I thought the paper was from the 1930s. It looks very old-fashioned.

  • Well, I have kept it since the 1980's. Have been studying the financial markets for a few years. lol

  • Just thinking, 35 cents is quite expensive for the 1930s, so that should have told me straight away.

Great that you kept those publications. It's very important to get an historical perspective on things.

  • Speaking of international banking, with Deutsche Bank's forcast that half of U.S. mortgages will be underwater in 2011, this sounds like one of the biggest headlines yet. To me that means the complete and total collapse of the U.S. banking system. Oh my God! Could MOT be right? What goes along with that? $20 or $30 gasoline? We'd have people fleeing the cities for the country side looking for food. That happened after the collapse of the Soviet Union folks.

  • yes, MOT could be right.

  • High fives..... good one

I remember rates like that, and banks wouldn't loan you a dime, unless you gave them everything you owned for collateral, but you COULD charge it on your credit card at a state maximum of 18% Them were interesting times!!

Anyone know what the price of gold was in 1981?

It fluctuated between $599 and $397 at years end

    YIKES

  • Affirming that there's reason for caution and vigilance in the times in which we live (and also probably for holdings in precious metals), it's important to note a factor in the skyrocketing price of gold in the late 70's/ early 80's that people often forget. That is the influence of author Howard Ruff, whose best-selling "How to Prosper in the Coming Bad Years" scared the willies out of enough people in that era to send gold soaring - though most of his predictions didn't come true.

  • Yes, I watched Howard speak at BYU back then. He was VERY influential and famous back then.

  • The price was there, but it was also coming off a bubble from the year before. In 1980, it was around $800 an ounce I believe, which is around $2,500 or higher when accounting for inflation.

The FED chairman rose interest rates to the 20% levels to stop stagflation.

I'm very interested in MOT's next video. It will talk about the very low interest rates it appears. Can't wait to watch!

    Thanks for the videos!

  • Thanks for watching. Rates are going to go back up again. It is going to be very brutal.

  • MOT, brilliant. Thank you.

Regarding your intro 0:10 , the question stands... on which side of that shield lies the truth?: Is truth being used as defense as most would expect?; or is knowledge of truth being withheld, defended, and kept behind that shield....hidden..inconspicuous?

In my experience, 'tis the latter.

Thank you for lowering your shield. The truth is both brighter and darker than ever imagined.

  • Some people might paint Harvard as a liberal institution without valiant people to defend truth. I would disagree. For sure there are many "ultra liberal" people there, but the older I get the more I see labels usually don't fit. I know they don't fit me!

  • Kudos MOT

  • thanks capcom

  • MOT, have you done any research on maitreya? I believe the country months away from total implosion, and maitreya is gonna show up with the solution to the termoil. (cough cough, anti-christ cough, cough)

  • I don't think Maitreya (promoted by Benjamin Creme) is the antichrist, but I question whether he even exists at all. Mr. Creme has been publicizing that Maitreya is going to save us all in an "any day now" kind of tone since at least the early 1980's, and I think earlier. There's been not even a Band Aid for a child's cut knee so far, and Creme is now getting pretty old.

  • You could be right. We'll see.

  • Yes, I have. The spirit of discernment will be the most important gift in the immediate future.

  • So true. We may be surprised at the large number of people who know who this impostor really is. At the same time, I'm gonna morn the people who really believe he's the christ.

  • Great vid MOT. I really enjoed that one.

  • gracias.

  • 500,000 students look back??? Thats 1 big class!!! BTW---Fantastic old newspaper articles!!!! Those things are amazing!!! I cant believe you kept that stuff... Good review!!

  • I meant to say 500 to a 1000 in that clip.

  • awesome.

  • thanks for sharing MOT

  • MOT..."Many know what they should do...few have what it takes" You could have pursued wealth within the system...but held true to your convictions in pursuit of the truth. Trust me, You're having a bigger impact than the other movers and shakers you reference at Harvard.

  • True, all MOT had to say is Rockefeller and big bankers, and I knew that the Institution of Learing was being influenced for the worst. Sounds like they were trying to get intellegent minds to think within there system. Fortunately, MOT was the black sheep of the bunch. I mean that as a compliment, MOT.

  • Understood. Have been the black sheep for quite a while.

  • Thanks. The times there are a changin' !!

  • Indeed, what a great era for savers. Now, not so much.

  • Yep, savers used to get 21% on there money market accounts..now it is a bit lower.

  • With inflation running at 16 % during that period, how was that a great era for savers?

Mathematically, today, you get a better return on your savings as there is no inflation (toungue in cheek) and you still can get 3% to 4 %.

  • I was referring to "generic" savers rather than money market account holders, as MOT stated. IOW, those who merely deposit money in a bank savings account or CD. Today, "joe commoner" does not save when interest rates are at or near 0%.

"Tongue in cheek" is right, because inflation is running rampant, the effects of which we have yet to fully enjoy. I have watched a few items I buy regularly in the grocery store rise steeply in price over the last 18 months so it's already been happening.

  • MOT!!

You should make a video in support of MILITIAS all across this Country!! The Media attacked them on Friday. As we all know.. they're our only hopes in terms of fighting back for Freedom!!

    Take care man.

  • Things are getting intense. The division is becoming much more marked between those that believe in the Constitution and those that don't.

  • Until the first shots in anger are exchanged, the first blood is spilled, and the first combat casualites are caused, it's not that 'intense'.

  • That division was evident when the Supreme Court ruled on the 2nd amendment last year. The line was clearly visible between the individual and collective right.

  • what do the symbols mean on the shield ?

  • Great Video Mot. Drove to Rural America outside Chicago IL. The Stimulas and Bailouts have devastated Rural America. Some towns look like ghost towns. Looks like economic waste lands. I feel really bad for those people. & i'm not a politician. Only development is in the wealthy areas. Chicago is now starting to feel the pain of the economic crisis. Places are closing everywhere. People are scared to spend money resturants and shops are empty saturday nights. Crime is increasing. Scary times

  • Thanks a million for the update from the Chicago area. Sometimes it is hard to imagine what is going on unless you are there. There is nothing like being there.

  • ManOfTruth

So you go to Harvard and turn out to be brilliant, energetic, and inspirational. While Barack Obama, goes to Harvard and turns out to be a fucking idiot, a bullshiter, and a liar.

    How does this happen?

  • cos Barack Obama hes a puppet for the corporations :)

  • Obama is not defending the Constitution period..... MOT is trying too.

  • As a young whippersnapper I appreciate the history lesson MOT!

    =)

  • LOL, you got me laughing.

  • Thanks for sharing your thoughts

  • Great stuff , I remember Jimmy (puke) Carter. I had a 14% mortgage. Look forward to more.

  • we are going to talk about this. sounds good, teach on oh sensai mot looking forward to

  • wow 21 percent you sure could not finance a 200000 dollar home on that

  • I was born in 1981, and my parents bought a house the year before. It's the same one they live in right now. They got it for about $40k with 18% interest. The house is worth about $135k on the market, but 25 years worth of payments, and who knows how much they paid. My dad doesn't want to remember haha.

  • Not much room to lower rates nowadays!!

  • tsrif

  • First?

  • yep!
