They're showing us that drippy dog food as if it's supposed to make us hungry. It has just the opposite effect on me. I won't even say what I think it looks like, but I'm sure you can guess.
31 years ago, The Drackett Company manufactured Vanish (it's an S.C. Johnson product now); General Foods owned both Post cereals and Gaines' Gravy Train {their successor, Kraft Foods, sold both of them off, and Post is now marketed by what's left of the Ralston cereal combine [Ralcorp], while Del Monte's pet food division is responsible for Gravy Train}...
Nice to see a recording that literally was recorded off air from an antenna, complete with RF & car ignition interference. A normal occurrence for those of us who grew up watching VHF channels in the pre-cable TV days!
@kylebook Many people never realized it, but the picture quality was overall better with a properly installed off air antenna. You generally had richer colors and a higher resolution. In fact many cable operators in those days got the signal from for the locals from an antenna and just rebroadcasted it. The interference we see here was a result of poorer filters built into electronics in those days.
Isn't the lemonade woman the same one that played Brenda and Brandon's mom in the original Beverly Hills 90210?

I can't believe that the on the Gravy Train commercial they say " The dog you love only gets ONE meal a day,so if its dull hes outta luck"
If they are only feeding that dog once a day they are crazy!

The dog you love only gets *one meal* a day? Seriously? That poor dog's so hungry, he's grabbing random planks of wood.
