hey, so after you took all them things out of that macbook, did it leave you with the whole bottom case? I need to replace my bottom case since the stupid battery latch broke on mine last week. so is that all you need to do to replace the whole bottom portion of the macbook? @crazyAlexander23 It's more of a chip. On Laptop computers (PC/Mac) have integrated graphic chips and they CAN NOT be removed with out ruining a mother board. I can't tell you personally were it is but I'm warning you if your graphics is screwed then it's going to be costly to repair.

what a fool we have here, the top case was already unscrewed and the keyboard was already disconnected, all you had to do was lift it off. The lcd was still attached to the lid, so it wasn't a complete disassembly anyway!!!

yea, i have had a white macbook for about a year and i decided i wanted a black one so i bought every single piece in black and yesterday and today, i took apart my entire macbook and installed in the new black shell. everything was fine except for one the magnets from the screen stuck to my hard drive and i didnt notice and when i went to boot up. my 500 gb hd was wiped. At least my computer works. My hinge didn't turn out just right though? it sticks out little bit on each side. Great Vid. ty
