Thank you very much for identifying this otherwise unknown Vienna Choir Boy soloist. There were several anonymous Vienna boys who contributed solos in the early releases of this set before Peter took over. We owe a great deal of gratitude to them for proving once and for all that boys are capable of singing Bach solos, and doing it superbly.
If you know the names of some of the others it would be nice to know!

The soloist here is Herbert Böck (who can also be heard on BWV 30 in the same series).

No, it's not. But I know the feeling.
Compare to BWV 30 (the aria is called "Eilt ihr Stunden"), and you'll hear that it is the same voice as this one, i.e. Herbert Böck.

Just Google Peter Jelosits. There is a biography and a current picture. He now is a tenor.
