@mattkadash the funny is that I have the same car and it is a FWD unless u lock ur wheels so ultimately u get a 4WD... ( AWD = power is generated from the engine and distributed 50% to the front and 50% to the rear permanently), most of Audi's cars are said to be AWD but Hyundai)
Four Wheel drive locks Axles, All Wheel Drive engages n disengages via Sensors...In the case of automatic AWD the computer engages the other axle when the main powered axle sends signals of faster rotating wheels = indicating it has slipping wheels. The engagement usually happens right at the center differential or at a joining section of the front and rear drive shafts with a clutch pack or similar.
As soon as all 4 wheels are rotating at the same speed again, AWD is turned off by the computer.
i have a 09 and it has 6 speed and the 3.5 why are they saying its new for 2010 thats the thing with Hyundai.. you cant get a striat answer on options from any body..the car dealers dont know much about the car..like i say they are saying this is all new for 2010 its not mine has it and its a 09
I own one and it is fantastic! Mixed Highway/City is consistent at 28mpg (imperial gallon). Smooth, quiet, and powerful. I've got the AWD Sport model.
it's a 4WD not an AWD
