  • "In truth, there was only one Christian, and he died on the cross.'

    What did he mean?

  • @tusi1390 Well, the first thing that comes to mind for me would be the idea that no one really followed what were supposedly Jesus Christ's teachings other than himself.

  • i wounder why he criticized the Christians only...not the jews not the Muslims...they all believe in god so if i was an atheist i would not criticize a religion, i would criticize all religions...because all religions believe in life after death...I know many atheists (philosophers, scientists... and normal people) they all attack the Christians..that makes me laugh at them lol

  • @elieobeid77 Well, by dialecting about the death of god in christianity, Nietzsche was implying this to all other monotheistic religions axiomatic to christianity, like islam or judaism - he merely kept it simple to not detract readers, cynics, and critics too far from the main thesis of his book, "Thus Spoke Zarathustra."

  • The section about his facial hair cracked me up hahaha.

Good job growing that bitchin' moustache bro, good job!

And the rest was good too!

  • I yam ze big fat elaphant in der rooom. and no van kan zee me....

  • What a man! Fascinating video.

  • Shame he could not have been cursed a little by some religion.. it might have kept him from dying at an early age with syliphus of the brain...

  • @suedee7x7

    what do you mean?

  • only 8000 views!

    disgraceful!

  • EXCELSIOR!

  • This man is the reason why I am an atheist today.

  • @AwwsummSauce Same here, and i couldn't be happier :)

  • sounds like he was poisoned

  • Neitsche supported the EU?

  • he's nearer to nomadic supremacism than anti-semitism! a man with a great intuition

  • thus spoke zarathustra made the bible obsolete

  • @selvmordspilot No, it just philosophically commented that maybe god is no longer important or held adamantly as a belief by people any longer.

  • @VexT916 : no longer important and/or no longer taken serious. I think that's synonymous with "obsolete". At least this is what I meant, which is to say, I agree about everything except the "maybe" ;)

  • @selvmordspilot I'm pretty sure Nietzsche didn't "invent" Zarathustra. I think that was the ancient Persians' equivalent to God in the religion Zoroaster. It would make since for him to mock an organized religion (Judeo-Chritianity) by comparing it to a similar, outdated one. Good stuff, thanks for posting this.

  • I don't know whether to laugh or cry!

  • RACISTS, anti-semitic, gay, woman hating atheist who went insane before he died....THATS YOU HERO?!

  • @StLukey7 Wow you know nothing about nietzsche!

  • @anyrock22 well, which one i s untrue?

  • @StLukey7 - 3 of them that i know of. Not racist, not anti-semitic, not woman hating (one could argue he loved women too much). To quote him "Ah women, they make the highs higher and the lows lower," sounds like someone who has loved a woman intensely. To be sure quotes of his taken out of context are cheap, as we can't be sure when he was simply employing a rhetorical strategy to make a point.

  • @StLukey7 I don't know that he was NOT gay, but so what if he was? It's true that he was an atheist and that he went insane before he died as a result of syphilis.

  • Might be a big deal to Europeans, that's no worse than us roaming from state or province to province.

  • its funny how people today are desperate to patch nietzche up and make him a lovebale personality. nonsense.

  • @StLukey7 He's a genius. Enough said.

  • Some years ago, I spent the last four semesters...totally immersed in Philosophy. Had I continued further, I felt I would go mad. My heart and soul are with this genius, so humble, yet emphatically arrogant: The message harms no one Nietzsche's message reveals the clues. Sadly, so misinterpreted by many feminists and nazis Thanks for a stimulating experience... I live in a cesspool called 'society' One plagued planet......I am grateful to get grounded again.

  • Bull......Shit

  • Is it just me or people just stopped calling Nietzsche an anti-Semite after this video? Good to see their ignorance gone.

  • @esiosan

Wagner however would've been one one Naziism's chief standard-bearers.
