Be sure to visit the John Snow and raise a glass. This was a wonderful and moving book. I had been fascinated by Snow for years and was strongly moved by this book.
Had a lecture with Steven today at school(New School Univer. NYC), and he was great. We discussed everything from Cholera(obviously), to Google, the digital media and Second Life..
this totally helped I didn't understand the book at all.

I thought it was his best to date and look forward to purchasing 'The Invention of Air' when it comes out.
Sometimes you do have to invest a few pages to see where he's going. It's worth the multiangle storytelling and 'progressive' morals if you ask me.

completely agree with you

The book is very interesting but he isn't a great writer, and the editing on the book is terrible.
I still highly recommend it though.

I like how it's low-budget... nice and simple. I'm looking forward to the book.
