i feel if you think somethings not there and trueley belive it's not there than you can basicly believe what ever and it can change what happens to you. i know i didnt explain this perfectly and i need to put more thought into it and i want you to put some though into it
@GilliamHimself you actually think art has no purpose? let me enlighten you, art provides the purpose of making the person producing the art happy, whether the action of doing it makes them happy or their future praise makes them happy.
@SmileWidePro I have a friend who regularly wakes up to see what he describes as some kind of demon or ghost. Whatever it's supposed to be, it's quite a scary sight. He's done a sketch of this thing. Explain how by creating another image of something he doesn't like or want to see which he can view at any time makes him happy? My point is that in the very words of several artists themselves - art's very nature is to have no purpose. I was just making a little joke, really. >.<
You are amazing. You know that? Simply amazing. You make me question everything and thats why i love you. Because i love to question. I think that fits in with this video... I like to question things because i need an answer to things... Much like you saying things needing a purpose. I am atheist but believe in the paranormal, and i think thats because a closer look at the world around us, has shown me how science or religion, cannot show the answers to everything.
@ryolo132 check out my video "in all probability god...god doesn't exist" I think you would enjoy the series of long comments I just left this guy, you see it right away at the top of the comments under the video. thanks so much btw :)
Read below post You have to believe everything has a plan behind it, even the rain drop. And I can't believe that that raindrop somehow had a purpose. And what is the significance of these coincidences to the entire universe? There's this whole gigantic universe out there, so why should wht happens here be more important? I believe that nothing has a purpose, and we must just give our lives meaning by doing something that WE love or We thing is meaningful in comparison to the rest of the world.
Read below post. What are the odds that that one, tiny raindrop would land in that exact spot, perhaps right where you are looking. But it had to land somewhere, it's just pure coincidence that it happened to land there. So if you believe that there's a hidden plan behind these things, you have believe that for everything, you can't pick and choose like "oh I got stabbed but in the x-ray they found out I have cancer now I'll live," you can't just choose the things that affect you.
Well now that I watched the video, I gotta say I think purpose is just an invention of human kind through entities like gods. And without gods people can't handle life, because then there would be no purpose, like you were saying. Personally, I don't believe there is a god, and thus believe everything is random. Only the individual can give their lives meaning. To give an example of this concept, think about when a rain drop lands on your window.
something has to have a purpose! god is the purpose of why we live, he gave us life! there is a purpose and without it, there will be no explanation/like why!
awesome video love it but what about the fact that infinity is impossible so then there has to be some thing to start every thing and theres also the theory something had to start that thing i stiking to a belief and i guess no one will know for sure until we die
@reptileandfishboi123 I think that the popular belief that everything has to have a beginning and an end is a misconception. Everyone grows up and lives their life in a world where things are born, live and die. Everything starts exists and then ends. Thus it is very hard to comprehend things not behaving like this. I don't believe that we shouldn't believe in something just because we can't comprehend it, rather strive to comprehend it. And so I don't think infinity is impossible. Thanks.
@MrBebopChamploo I find it very hard to comprehend things spontaneously beginning and ending. Like energy. Energy cannot be created or destroyed, only turned into different types of energy. I believe everything works in the same way.
@sockschappercat I just want to clarify that I think the same thing you do, because I'm not sure if you're agreeing or disagreeing with me. I did write my comment a little bit confusingly, so I wanted to make sure that everyone knows I don't think everything needs a beginning and an end, regardless of difficulty/lack of difficulty there is in understanding that fact.
if you think 100years is your purpose then everyone's life is very sad.

Everything that is real has purpose. Art has no purpose. Does that mean art does not exist?

What would you do if purpose was given a reason to be purpose? Like...
If your purpose was given a reason as to why it was a purpose, someone spelled it out for you and said "this is what this is, nothing else"
Would you try to follow what they said? Or would you experiment and see what else there was that you could do with it?
