good pitching u can tell he has the right mindset but like most young pitchers needs to work on getting hand back which helps alot with speed and saving his arm

Im a Sophmore But Last Year i was a Freshman and i Made varsity as a freshman and Started 2nd base and shortstopthis year i started working on my pitching and im throwing Mid 80s and ive never really pitch.. if this kid can field hes a Great Future

@123flippnout mechanics is everything and just pitch alot and u will figure out tghings on ur own and that is how u will make ur biggest improvements

Well, Although he does a great job and could really be good when he grows. I coach in Florida and my son plays SS and pitches. He throws 45 mph and can hit pitches that reach 60mph. He hit one 200 feet in one game. He is also average size for an 8 year old. He's been playing since he was two.

Like I said though, it doesn't mean a thing now. If you look at percentages, kids that don't do much when they're young make up more of the percentage in the majors or college.

If you would like I can put a video up of my son to compare. All the coach including the High School hitting and pitching coaches(2007 state champs)rave about him and tell me all kinds of flattering things like "Very Quick hands". He loves it and has a lot of fun which is all that matters. Your boy is definitely above average.
