i live in guernsey in channel islands and you can ride any bike at 17 (i have 07 r6)

I don't know the rules in the UK. But I don't think you can get a R6 (at least not at full power).

I am 22 now and have my license now. I pay 150 euros for insurance. And that includes everything. Also damage to my own bike.

i dont believe a group 16 bike would cost 150 euros fully comp at 22, you nearly talking around £700 here in the UK

if you have passed your motorcycle test before you 21st you can it costs around £100 but you are also reported to the DVLA +Police that you have the bike with the restrictor if you decide to take off without having your lience for 2years you will proberly loose your lience and will have to retake with a ban

R6 was my first bike and Its worked out great.

the r6 was my first bike. As long as u are not stupid then it will be fine. learn to respect the bike and its power and it will respect u. ride with a brain. Me myself, i like to accerate pretty fast because i love the sound mine makes but i really dont care abotu top speed and on the highway, its more fun to just cruise. Just be careful and be a smart rider. Ride for everyone on the road.

@uTube52963 I've done a lot in one year. A few track days at NJMP. Got rid of the R6 a long time ago, then got a 05 636 wrecked that and now have a 03 r6 again. Knee down is cake, doesn't mean anything. Be careful. Sv650 is perfect!

u know, that the point. its an 100% race bike its fucking aggresiv (i own one) and its ridiculous how fast you can go on an R6! But..this is also the "problem" i never ride like i "should".. just cant stay calm on that bike!
