Ive only learned this recently as well because i am learning about food from different cultures. in the UK a biscuit is a cookie. They also have scones which look alot like american biscuits but are usually sweet quick breads. sometimes they arent sweet and may closely resemble biscuits though. It does annoy me when they refer to cookies an biscuits though lol. to me a biscuit is what is in this commerical.
