I can see why you and Mary were drawn together. Both of you seem to break from the typical "Verse-Verse-Chorus-Verse-Chor­us" schemes, and rather reach into some experimental forms. Nevertheless I can hear your Celtic heritage in your lilting, haunting melodies. Wonderful lyrics, and excellnt performances! BTW - I wanna steal that sweet sounding Guild of yours! ~Jon

Why am I not surprised Mary is playing the bass? Mary, did you learn the bass before the guitar? Now that I think about it, that would explain some of your exotic approaches to rhythm playing.

Meredith, this is a fabulous song. The guitar is heavenly and your voice is angelic. When I clicked the link I was hoping for a Dire Straits cover, but now I'm glad it wasn't.

The song is so captivating that I didn't even realize until late that it starts with the chorus. Love the ending.
