This movie reminds me of my bff's parents' love. They met in the 70's, her dad is white and her mom is black. They fell in love as teenagers in the south. Segregation was over but there was stil racism They fell in love in the summer of 71'. She told me her father's family hated her mom. So they had to break up&her mom moved up north &he stayed south. While not together they wrote eachother. But he got married to another woman in 82', that year her parents reunited in NYC. He then got divorced<3

I absolutely LOVE this! The Notebook is my FAVORITE movie because it reminds me so much of my fiance and I. Our story is similar to Noah and Ally's story of falling in love as teenagers during the summer and then breaking up and going separate ways only to find each other again! I cry happy tears every time I watch it...this song goes so perfect with this! AWESOME JOB!!

Funny thing about this movie is that me and this girl had a story almost exactly like this. We broke up and i was with a girl who was perfect. I broke up with the girl to see if i was still suppose to be with my ex. Ended up my ex was talking to me for a few months and had a husband and had split personality the whole time. Love doesn't exist. Love is a crock of sh*t. Anybody that believes in love will only end up heartbroken. Don't waste your time on love anyone. It only hurts u in the end.
