  • And this is why it a 25,000$ tin can( watch the crash test you'll see it become a tin can)

  • Am I the only one who loves the sound of the stock engine. I know there wasn't a lot of performance there but the sound is lovely and very much of its time (in a good way).

  • how much would a stock delorean cost

  • Hey, play the song "Party Train" by the Gap Band while watching this video. It fits perfectly! lol :-)

  • how much do you pay a month for this car? is the insurance high?

  • i wanna DeLorean. Best car!!!!

  • doesnt have power steering?

  • Man i wish i had a delorean here where i live there are only two in the damn state i even got to come across one that was parked outside of a bar....im planning on studying hard so when i get older and have enough cash, buy one.

  • DeLoreans look like a ton of fun to drive.

    Best car ever!

  • great video

  • DeLorean is such an amazing car and your camera work is really good. Usually I don't watch long driving videos from the beginning to the end, but I really enjoyed this.

  • Love the video man, I watch all the DeLorean videos on Youtube to keep me motivated to buy one! Hopefully I'll be joining you in the DeLorean Owners Association

  • Please remember that these cars are 30 years old as of 2011 so a stock DeLorean today isn't so impressive on paper, but euro spec and other mods can turn them into Golf GTI killers and even Porsche killers (performance wise, not handling) depending on how deep your pockets are... A stock car though is fine for daily road use...

  • @cpetitt9704 Yes, the original 2.85 PRV V6 albeit with a custom, free flowing exhaust. No, the original BTTF cars ran stock PRV engines with the sound of the modified Porsche 928 engine dubbed over the top. The BTTF III car with the 1955 wheels on had a custom chassis and a VW engine. The prototype DeLorean was mid-engined. The production cars were all rear engined.

  • excuse me, what country is that?

  • England

  • @ChrisVonBron Thanks!

  • If you were at a mall and parked in between two cars, would you be able to open the doors without hitting them?

  • I often park in malls. You only need around 11 inches to swing the door out and then you have more space than a conventional door as the gullwing is up and out of the way. Stainless steel is far touch that the thin stuff on 'normal' cars so it doesn't dent/mark as easily either.

  • nice one!!!! very coool

  • when can i drive it and have you gone back in time yet?

  • sounds great u make the best videos on youtube awesome camera shots to

  • reminds me of the opening scene of Goldeneye. The engine even sounds a little like the Aston Martins (to me)

  • why did you shut the car off at 3:40?

  • The whole thing was shot with just one camcorder. At the point you mention I needed to move it back from the tripod to the car. Hence why I turned it off as it takes a good few minutes for setup.

  • oh ok. makes sense.

  • wow dude! love your ride! i've sat in one before with the doors closed, and i thought that was awesome! I wonder what it feels like to ride in one or to DRIVE ONE!?

  • You are my hero! I have watched A LOT of driving videos on you tube. The video you have produced is by far the best i have ever scene. My father and I also own a DeLorean so I really, REALLY enjoyed it. My compliments to you sir.

  • Add me as a friend as YouTube won't let me reply to your personal email until you do...

  • Great video! I like how you used the different views of the car and people's reactions. Exhaust setup sounds great.

  • cool, i'll look into that...thanks :)

  • Thanks, see the description to the right of the video under my profile for details. A similar video can be found of the FULL stainless steel replacement...

  • By the way, beautiful car and filming angles ;).

  • Where do you get the mounts for the camera on the outside of the car?(especially the side)

  • SM1 at Nottingham's b-hague (UK website) I'm sure they'll ship to Oz if you ask nicely

  • Niiice! Another great video
