In regards to your question, since the X-Series guitars are made of HPL (High Pressure Laminate) for the back and sides, the sound should be the same; only the "wood" (which is actually a photograph of wood grain, no kidding!) exterior would look like Koa (hence the K in the model name) instead of Mahogany. More of a cosmetic feature, in other words.
The action is great. It was actually starting to buzz so I took a super-thin piece of plastic and placed it under the bridge. No more buzz and still great action.

what strap did you buy. im a big boy myself 6'4 270 and i cant find a nice strap to fit. i have the same guitar but put elixr strings on it.
