From what I understand...Goa is to Psytrance as Jungle is to Drum and Bass. A lot of people feel they have very distinct differences, some say they are the same thing, and some people suggest that the former is a term preserved for the classic origins of the latter. I've encountered all three standpoints and they have been argued for vehemently for as long as they existed.
