  • This is what real comedy & talent is all about! Not this crap that's on TV now! These people actually had to have some talent to get into the business. This was good, clean comedy too. I hate watching TV now because it's all about sex & it's just not funny!

  • My brother used to call me Mrs. HaWiggins as kids....I really miss seeing actual talent on tv shows

  • I love Carol's layered haircut! FAB!!!

  • Loved Carol Burnett show - grew up watching that all the time. They had some of the funniest skits. You don't get this kind of fun and clean comedy anymore. It's a thing of the past.

  • Lol, "Missus Ha-Whhhiggins."

  • Wow! Sketches were long back then!

  • Don't you mean, Mrs. ahawiggins?

  • no one would not like this, I mean this is priceless. Not many bosses would put up with a secretary like that but she is just perfect for the part, I adore her and always have

  • MLA Heather Klimchuk of Alberta Works was Lougheed's secretary. Check out a few of her moves. Make note of the Alberta Response Model. She paid for the Royal Alberta Museum How Many times?!!!

  • Now an assistant has to know Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access and have a 4 year college degree plus 5 years experience being a "slave"! Ridiculous. What ever happend to white out? LOL Fax, Federal and Computers made our life worse!

  • The great thing about Tthe Carol Burnett Show, was that although it was broad sketch-comedy, these people were great actors that gave real personality to their performances. I have known a few Mrs. Wigginses in my life...

  • Have we ever figured out what kind of accent Mr. Tudball is doing? Like where is he from??!!?!? haha

  • @ClassicsWEREandARE Northern European is as close as I can guess.

  • My husband and I miss The Carol Burnett Show. Shared some with daughter, she agrees --- GREAT SHOW! Wish we could get the FULL show on DVD's. Comedy was GREAT 'back then'... memories... sweet memories...

  • I'm 16, and let me tell you--NOTHING on TV today, not even SNL, even begins to compare to the Carol Burnett show. I wish they played re-runs of it on TV today!

  • this is what should be on tv today

  • sorry ms w # do not add up

  • Does anyone remember a skit where she was in an apartment and some rabbits that began to over crowd the room?

  • Mrs. Wiggins should know better than to be doing her nails while on the clock, LOL

  • I love this!

  • Everyone tells me about this haha I'm 15 and my last name is Wiggins hahaha(:

  • What talent., Now there is only garbage reality crap on TV

  • @jperez1910 I agree.. reality Tv is for people that don't have talent and can't act, now we get to watch people at their jobs for entertainment.

  • Classic and hilarious!!!

  • I miss that show. I laughed thru the whole video. I used to watch it every week. How could they even get thru the skits without cracking up. Love this

  • I rememeber watching this back then 10PM. CLASSIC!

  • I'd click the "LOVE!" button if youtube had one :)

  • LOL Finally found it:D! There she is in all her glory doing her nails ROFL hahahaha!

  • @cyphrinfinity who would NOT like this??? These were the days of good comedy. It was one of my favourite skits when I watch it in the 70s; however my tastes have changed somewhat since then. I do have to say the Tim Conway skits are my favourite ones NOW - the way he talks on this is so hilarious lol!!!

  • @cyphrinfinity omg yes someone knows how i feel :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

  • The BEST!

  • OH my god, I'm crying... "Misses Wiggins, you're fi-r-ed" "You can't-a fire me, I quueit!"

  • Well, I'll be darned... I just figured something out... Or should I say, I just-a figured some-t-ing out.

  • When I was much younger I used to watch this show. All of her show was good... and usually funny. But this part.... Mr. Tudball and Mrs. Wiggins... was my all-time favorite. Till NOW... and I am quite old at this point.... I have NEVER seen anything on modern TV that is as funny as these skits were................

  • My Mom and I used to love watching this show, and these characters, along with the old man and Harvey, and the little guy that Tim played on his knees. The funny and sad thing about this is that we didn't realize what happy, good times it was back then. Sure miss it!

  • I agree. these are great.

  • THOSE where the days

  • omg. lmao. I was looknig at the translation BETA captions.... and it said @ 7:48 "it is a different ending like Pat Buchanan" HAHAHA WHO IS PAT BUCHANAN?!?! THAT'S HILARIOUS.

  • This was humor at it's VERY BEST!

  • Thanks for the news flash ..Do you have any news on the Hindenburg? Hahahahaha

  • My favorite comedy show growing up. TV was actually good back then until the networks got cheap and now all we have is this reality crap so they don't have to pay talented actors. The quality of TV sucks today!!

  • classic!

  • Mrs. Hawiggins must have been what started the "dumb blonde" jokes! Man, she was funny. My favorite skit was Eunice on Family and this second. Why were all the good TV shows and music back in the 80s?

  • I never liked this show....but I do work with people like Miss Hawiggins! Seen alot of toops like Tudballs!LOL!!

  • One of the best comedy shows on TV ever. The whole cast was hilarious. They don't make shows like this anymore.

  • 11 thumbs down for a classic skit?? shame,shame,shame..

  • Brings back great memories!! They are pure genious.

  • Absoulut;ely Great Writers!! This show was an instant classic.

  • oh the good ole days

  • It's weird, but I am still completely hot for Mrs. Wiggins. I think it was the big hair and how her butt stuck out when she walked...somehow that character still revs my motor.

  • ahhhh, Mississ HuWiggins?

  • A funny show. The shows on tv now are not funny. Just nasty. And nasty is not funny. We miss classic comedies like The Carol Burnett show.

  • @aeanes22 i miss them too! the shows on tv that people call funny these days, r kind of boring!

  • these are my all time faovrite sketches from this show!

  • carol burnett made a really hot blonde!

  • I have not seen this since the first time it aired. Thanks so much for posting this. Comic gold.

  • "this is like working at the Looney Tunes"

    classic!

  • she use to tickle me, how she walked...lol...very funny skit!

  • i love wanda wiggins

  • i love this show best one in tv history

  • lolol very funny~

  • she looks like Kate Gosselin.

  • we had a music show of this theme and my friend morgan and jt did this skech and it was so funny. especially with her doing her nails half the time.

  • I love this skit sooooo much

  • I'd love for there to be a collection of the "Tudball/Wiggins" skits on DVD.

  • The Official Second Season of The Lucy Show is being released on DVD July 13, 2010 and is avialable for pre-order on amazon!

  • Mrs. Wiggins former job was at the Atomic Energy Commission.

  • Hahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • As the Swede said. " I ust learned to say elly and they changed it to am.( jelly jam)

  • anyone notice at 5:39 the chair behind carol is moved back. lol

  • OMG YEAH I DO LOL!!

  • Dorf had the laugh track not Carol Burnett... I think Cheesesnax means...

  • They did film live, but it was common to use a laugh track to "enhance" the audience reaction. They also used people who would come in and sit in the audiences of shows and laugh for the same reasons. Johnny had one on the Tonight show one time interviewing her. Her laugh was outrageous.

  • Dorf on golf... Tim was great. Laugh track was kinda lame though... 1985 or 86?

  • i thought they filmed in front of a live audience

  • The company did film live...twice,actually. Carol often joked that one show was for broadcast, the other was for Tim & Harvey...

  • I can't believe that anybody would take a wonderful comic skit like this and try to extract some kind of liberal political horse shit from it......

  • lol those where the best.. i remember watching them all the time

  • AWSUM FOOTAGE!

    Loves,

    Mooz

  • Huh?

  • i loved these segments when they were on!

ah mrs wiggins will-a you-a come-a here-a please? tim conway is genius.

i know a lot of people dumber than mrs wiggins.

  • I'm thinking of "The Office" when I watch this. Thank You.

  • My friends and I used to do the Carole Burnett Show on our tape recorder and do all the characters! I did a mean Mr. Tudball accent for a 10 year old girl!

  • My aunt and I have done a few Eunice skits on camera, I was Eunice and she was Mama. Maybe I can put those up sometime.

  • They just don't make comedies like this anymore hella funny!!!

  • @tthompson315 i know! one of my friends saw tim conway in person a few years ago. she told me he was so hilarious!

  • @tthompson315 You got that right! I love these sketches! I also like As the Stomach Turns with her Carol Burnett.

  • love it!!

  • We remember Carol as a funny lady but she was very sexy and had some of the best legs in Hollywood as seen in this clip.

  • I've always wondered what it was, It kinda sounds German to me, I heard someone refer to him as Cuban, but I don't think so.

  • He's supposed to be Swedish. Think of the Chef on the Muppet Show.

  • Probably so, I'm studying German and I see similarities between German and Swedish.

  • What kind of accent does that guy have? like what country?

  • it is supposed to be a Swedish accent, because he uses that same accent for that little midget character: Dirk Dorf.

  • Thought Swedes doesnt sound anything like that lol not even in the 1900s but i understand that this is comedy and is supposed to be fun.

  • He's like the swedish chef on Sesame Street!

  • Old comedy is the best!!

  • Love that turf on his head! Hindenberg!! Lol.

  • what is this show called??

  • The Carol Burnett Show

  • Funnier than I don't know what.

  • This one is my favorite episode ever!!!

  • Oh heavens thank you so much for having these clips! I grew up watching the re runs of this show! I usually laughed so hard at times I almost stopped breathing.

  • His accent is too much.......I can't stand it!

  • The last true variety show!

I am glad that I lived when this was on TV. No reality garbage, no sex, no vulgarities. Just ingenious writing and impeccable comedic talent!

  • right and it was a shame when they show went off the air. i grew up watching her so i just kinda dated myself. i am 41 and miss this funny lady

  • Seems like yesterday I watched this!

  • Gotta love that accent.

  • this show is so DaMn funny!

CB and her cast were AmAzing!

  • Tudball and Wiggins are my favorite Carol Burnett skits

  • I was just a kid when this was on, and I never realized Carol really was a knockout.

  • she was absolutely gorgous! and so was vicki

  • I did, she kept me with a tent

  • This show is still funny! And what a name, Tubdball!

  • Eh, Misses a- H-wiggins? lol i'm so depressed this isn't on tv anymore :(

  • This my favorite one

  • No actually Mrs. Wiggins is alive and well working for the Government !

  • You got that right!

  • im looking one where she goes use things in kitchen and the kitchen falls apart

  • Ha i am only 19 and my mother had me watch all the shows and they are so freakin funny!!!! HA HA HA

  • I saw the first Tudball/Wiggins sketch in 1976 when I was in the hospital recuperating from major abdominal surgery. I had to turn the TV set off, because I was afraid I was going to rip my stitches out from laughing so hard!

  • love this show

  • ah, mrs-a wiggings.....

  • Mrs. Wiggins would've been fired long time ago...she was hilarious though...Mr. Tudballs Toupe - too funny. I believe Bob Mackie designed all the clothes and gowns for the show, he did an excellent job, even on the ones that Carol wore playing Eunice dressed up and the gowns being too short and ill-fitted. Carol is brilliant.

  • if they made a movie id go see it ............

  • How I wish these shows were still on TV! I can watch the same skits forever and still laugh!

  • omg i love this routine...always has me ROFLMAO!

  • "Missuz Zuhwiggins"

  • When comedy was created ,Carol Burnett showed them what they were doing wrong,,,,some shows go on far too long ,and some shows THE CLASSICS, are taken far too soon.....Rock On Carol Burnett

  • "Uhh, Mrs. uh WHiggins..."

  • no matter how many times i have seen this video i always laugh

  • Our family used to watch The Carol Burnett Show all the time, and this skit with Mrs. Wiggins was one of the best! There were many good shows on television in those days.

  • That "accent" of Tudball's! Oh man, he is a crazy bugger!

"You're the only person I know that can actually tailgate herself."

    Two geniuses at work.

  • These Tudball & Wiggins scetches were my favorites!

  • The fog is begining to lift. LMAO!!! The best!

  • i almost rolled over. my stomach hurts. TIm is so natural, i like him, he is so good. Carol will always be the greatest ever. i love them both. TIm is so good in ad libing. :)

  • I liked Carol more as Mrs. Wiggins, than any other character that she did on the show. Tim had all the great lines though, but I liked Mrs. Wiggins too. Thanks for the great post. As the Stomach Turns was good too.

  • me too... she really perfected this character.

  • Tudball and the Oldest Man are my two favorite sketches on the show.

"Do you have any estimated time that those dog gone nails are gonna be dry?" "No..." "They're beginning to attract fruit flies!"

  • my Father use to love this character Mr. Tudball.

  • This was my favorite skit in the show's history.

  • rip mr korman

  • Carol Burnett, Tim Conway, Harvey Korman, and the rest of the crew made up the best of the best. It's pure hilarity.

  • Ahhh...back in the days when TV was funny and entertaining...

  • This comedy sketch has GOT to be one of the BEST of all time!! Absolutely hilarious.. I've always loved it (and the drapery rod gown in Blown With The Wind). (George) lonesome001

  • Hey, 60s80s, agreed!

  • I cancelled my cable TV 15 years ago because it took too much time to search through crap to find the rare diamond that was so commonplace in the Carol Burnett Show days. And I could see the trend where lack of talent was starting to be rewarded and celebrated.

In the past decade and a half, I've been curious to know if I'd missed anything. But judging from the near universal "they don't make 'em like this anymore" comments on the Carol Burnett vids, I think I've got my answer.

  • Blooper at 5:39 - someone pulls a chair out of the shot (watch the lower right corner of the screen).

  • he sounds like mr. hanson from little house lol

  • I think Carol looks better with blonde hair!

  • heck she looks good in any colr! she can even pull off the gray wigs!

  • my mom likes the one where she walks real slow and he says "don't be makin a spark by rubbing them legs together to fast by walking fatser" or something XD

  • They come no better this. The best period!

  • They are the BEST! ROTFLOL!

  • I love the Tudball/Wiggins skits! They're my favorite.

  • HAHAHAHAh you cant stop laughing!

  • see this is real comedy. its funny without guys beating eachother up and nasty dumb jokes. this is the real deal

  • yeah, there's nothing like this on tv anymore. television has lost so much class.

  • lovebug, the show was around for 11 years. that's more then a lot of shows have been around. i wish that it was around longer too but shows have to end at some point. i love the show and i find this skit very funny, tabstarkin. add more mr. tudball and mrs wiggins!

  • I miss this show so much why isn't it on the air anymore. It was a bad choice to take it off it was suitable for all ages

  • 2 words LOVE IT I used to watch this show all the time and these skits were my fav of all

  • Me to. Come Back to USA Network Carol Burnett.

  • This is The Carol Burnett Show at its very finest. I like these Mr. Tudall and Mrs. Wiggins skits.

  • Nice !!!!

  • It's great to see these again! ! Tim Conway and Carol Burnett make a great team!

These skits with Mr. Tudball and Mrs. Wiggins are classic! LOL! Thanks for sharing these with us.
