sigh...Dino Bravo (the character) was able to entertain and draw so much heat. I still watch wrestling, but these were the good ol days! R.I.P Dino...you will Always be remembered!
according to bret harts book dino said he knew he was going to die in the weeks before his murder... I feel for him, i would have been scared shitless, but he took those bullets like a man.
Oh, thats real immature. I wasn't talking about the man's death, I was talking about his wrestling. Wrestling wise he was decent. His brains were all in the corner. He's the type of wrestler who needs somebody in there with him who complements his style in order to have a good match, because he can't have a good match on his own.
i little bit of advice for you my friend, go watch matches from his days in International Wrestling in montreal, you will find out that Dino could do it all in the ring. I grew up watching him in the Montreal territory in the early 80's and the guy could throw a dropkick as easy as a punch at the time. However when he came back to the WWF, he started to use a more power based offence at the request of Vince McMahon.
I have tapes of when he wrestled for Vince Senior back in the 70s and early 80s. He was actually pretty good back then. I've seen a few of his matches in Montreal and from what I've ascertain he seems ike a solid worker.
I totaly agree with you, he was a solid worker in the ring.I remember seing workouts videos of him at the time in montreal were he was working out with Rick Martel and Tom Zenk. There were realy intence.
I think Martel should have become Intercontinental Champ in his career. To bad that he was busy with some personal buisness when he had the chance to be IC champ. he was preparing his future after wrestling.
Dino scored a countout win over Randy Savage when the Macho Man was WWF
champion so he was held in high regard.
