  • Most i need 70 g baking soda ?? Plz Tell me

  • @agzar09 no i doubt i just used any vinegar for each of my trials and all of them worked

  • why do people still use this fucking song i hate it!

  • Lol science fair, here I come:)

  • Mine was kinda White when I took it off the boil I have only just done it so i'm gonna wait see if it changes clear again

  • how is this song called?

  • does it have to be on glass?

  • @StickerMasterLuke Glass or copper pot. you CANNOT USE ANYTHING ELSE or you will ruinthe sample.

  • What is,Baking Soda,Vinegar...

  • Can you reuse it afterwards like reboiling it?

  • @themanwithaplan808 Yes, just put it in the microwave and let it cool in the frigie again.

  • will anything happen if water is poured on it?

  • can we use normal vinegar what is 5 % vinegar

  • @javierdj101 it is normal white vinegar... the one that says '5%' on the label...

  • @javierdj101 You do know that you can just use sodium acetate and it will work and instead of letting it cool you can put it in the fridge much easier:) just to let you know

  • <3.... awesome

  • 70 ml??? How much is that? Seems like a lot...

  • @cupcakekitty5 eh, not that much

  • Comment removed

  • @DrPepperhater21 Actually, it's more of a gel than ice. Still, would be funny.

  • @ZANEandNATHANchannel only a trace, the crust shows that the solution is saturated even at boiling temperature, let it go too long and you'll need to add some more vinegar and continue boiling to re-dissolve the crust or it wont work.

  • How long does it stay on the stove??? just wondering

  • @iloveyou2140 depends on your stove or cookware as to how fast it boils, for me it was a glass pot on an old stove, took about 30-40 minutes from the time it reached a boil

  • Can you melt it again by boiling it?

  • LMAO at some of the sick twisted comments

  • what do you add in order for it to make a cool smoking effect?

  • @adrianastyles99 this doesn't do that... you want dry ice for that...

  • @TARDISvision oh ok thanks....

  • That was totally awesome!!!

  • How long those the heat last ?

  • @mba2ceo depending on how good the solution i've gotten it to last upwards of 20 minutes

  • what song is this

  • what song is this

  • Probably a bad thing to put a solid glass pot on an extremely hot coil. Hope it doesnt break..

  • does your mom know your doing this missy

  • @awesomekid507 1, yes she did know. 2, i'm a guy

  • @TARDISvision i know i was jk

  • please respond -- how many minutes you boil the vinegar and the baking soda ?

  • WTF does it steam?

  • hmmmmmmmmmm. what is its use?

  • @piorivas just something fun to do here, but forms of this solution are used in heating pads.

  • can be reuseble

  • thz:)

  • do u have to use 5% white vinegar y cant u use reg white vinegar

  • Can u still eat it?

  • @evelynempleo No.

  • thx :)

  • please respond : does it have to b white vinegar

  • @BlueBerryEyes12 it's all I've tried and know to work, but people seem to think other types will work as well.

  • @BlueBerryEyes12 no. could b any 1

  • This thing so a total mind f@#k

  • I want to see someone leave their finger in it

  • so what if i drink it, an some1 touches me will i turn into ice :o

  • Why when you touch it, it becomes dry ice? Why not use water instead of vinegar?

  • @MrOMGHOHO similar, but not ice, and it's hot to the touch. As for the vinegar, it's required for the solution to work... grade 8 or 9 chemistry.

  • will this damage my pan that I use to make this?

  • @foamingyoshi what kind of pan?

  • @TARDISvision i think maybe tin

  • is it actually ice or just crystal?

  • @mrskullcrush55 just crystals

  • Hi is this ice useable? Like can you drink water with it??

  • @MegaNora123456 it'll taste terrible, and warm the drink instead of cool it down, but go for it if you want too.

  • @TARDISvision I'd think it would be poisonous. You know, because of the whole Sodium acetate thing.

  • @Smartboy7 it's not sodium acetate, this is a similar way of doing it with vinegar and baking soda for people who can't get sodium acetate readily.

  • Nice. But what is the name of this nuner you play

  • can u use baking powder?

  • can you reheat it and do stuff with it over and over again?

  • @mrhilov8 not really, you can re-dissolve the solid in more vinegar and boil it down again, but it may not work. easier to just do it again from scratch.

  • Scorpions gonna win when the ice melts

  • subzero wins FATALITY!

  • what would happen if i just left my finger in it

  • Do it have to be White Vinegar??

  • @CssKroNoZ that's all i've used, but people say you can use other types.

  • Can I mix it into a drink and trick my friends that I have super powers?

  • @TheCrunchStudios if you mix it it'll ruin the solution... so no.

  • CAN YOU USE THIS IN MAKING DRY ICE CRYSTAL BALL BUBBLE?

  • How long does it usally take for 5 and 6 to happen

  • @Legouter1087 depends on your stove or cookware as to how fast it boils, for me it was a glass pot on an old stove, took about 30-40 minutes from the time it reached a boil

  • is baking soda the same as flower?

  • @Oliebol1123 no, they are two very different things...

  • Can you eat it ? :/

  • @Crunchiexx11 it'll taste terrible but there's no reason why you couldn't

  • trying this experiment = making pan dirty

  • @MrGreeKiller. Its called Paralyzed but i forgot who wrote it!

  • @Darklucario665 The song's name is Paralyzed, by Finger Eleven

  • @Darklucario665 Finger Eleven - Paralyzer*

  • what a bout smell??? is it bad?

  • @jojo19001 not too bad if you don't mind vinegar.

  • how long do you have to boil it for?

  • can i use 9% vinegar ?? or do i have to modify the recipe then?

  • @ivanorsolic no idea, i've never tried different kinds but apparently they can work.

  • why is it reacting to human body?

  • @Gutsyndicate it's super saturated, so the introduction of foreign particles starts the process, unless you wash your hands 3 seconds before there'll be something on them to start the reaction.

  • Dude ive tried finding stuff like this, IT WORKED>.< YESS Thankyou and i bid you a SHIT:)

  • help i did it and i left it to cool i touched it nothing happend

  • i boiled it and it show the white around but not the crust for me to stop does that mean i did something wrong?

  • @MissSmartCookie1 nah, probably just needed to boil a bit more

  • @WeSuckGAMING you cant sculpt if you use this way though :(

  • I used a difrend tipe of viniger is that wrong???

  • Doesn't baking soda and vinegar have a reaction when they just touch??? How did you manage to dissolve it into the vinegar??

  • @MusicLov3rMan it does react, that's why you have to add it slowly

  • @WeSuckGAMING i dont think it is easier and who has sodium acetate on hand?

  • Also what does the crust look like. Plz reply

  • Can u use half of each ingredient?

  • at first it looked like a nuke went off lol

  • Can u wait longer for it to sit, and what does then crust look like

  • Is it okay if I use black vinegar

  • @TARDISvision I would like to know if it's possible to transport the liquid? I mean after you made the liquid if you don't touch and freeze it but rather pour it in a bottle and try to freeze it somewhere else (e.g. a friend's house). Would that be possible or would shaking the bottle already freeze it?

Also can you reheat the ice to regain the same liquid that is able to be refrozen?

I'm sorry for my bad english, it's not my first language. I would love a rapid reply ^^

  • @GogoGliscor One, your english is excellent especially by youtube standards. Two, when it comes to transporting it i wouldn't know. I tried this for a school project and transported it in a sealed container but the reaction didn't occur afterwards. It may have sat too long or something. Finally, for reusing it you could, but you would have to re-dissolve the solid in more vinegar and boil it again, it also may not work. I'd just make a new batch but you can certainly try it.

  • @TARDISvision watch the nurdrage video on hot ice it tells you alot on hotice and shows you a lot on how to make it and what to do if you F it up

  • @TARDISvision Thank you ^^

  • whats the name of the song?

  • so now i know what's sub zero's secret

  • Would happens if you stick your finger the liquid part and leave it there while the whole thing is freezing up?

  • @TheQuincyT118 ur finger gets stuck xD

  • @TheQuincyT118 if u actualy wanna know u can just pull it out lol...

  • lol this is what my friend and i trying to do for science fair project :D. first time we don't have aciot whatever

then we find a way just like this on google but this really help men

  • hmm... if poured in a vast amount of water i wonder what would happen?

  • I have to ask, but just in case one of my friends do something stupid how do I reverse this process. I need to know as many of my experiments have been known to be used against me by foolish pranks and I'd prefer not to go into details. Please respond a.s.a.p.

  • @crystal1magic it's just baking soda and vinegar... its not likely the reaction would get hot enough to burn anything... just run water over it and it'll dissolve fairly quickly

  • chemicals are so fun :D

  • oh no i dropped some in the ocean about :0 !!!!!!!!!!

  • @WeSuckGAMING I did know of this but made this video (for me as well as others) because sodium acetate wasn't readily avaliable to me.

  • If you mix baking soda and vinegar, wont it the give the reaction you know with bubbles and such..? :]

  • @FreshShout That's why you add it 'slowly'. Unless you put it all in at once it wont fizz over, it'll just bubble then settle.

  • do u have to take a bit of water off

  • @shockerdude1000 there is no water...

  • @TARDISvision the vinegar i mean

  • next put it in a cup of water and drink it

  • hey @TARDISvision, what happens after you have touched it and it transformed to ice but does it transform back to liquid or do you have to make a new one...?

  • @bobosmradcigan it's not actually ice, it's a super-saturated solution. so it doesn't melt. the only way you could re-use it is to mix it in with more vinegar and boil it down again.

  • i dont get it when i boil it theres no crust but there like a tiny bit what do i do :( please reply tardisvision

  • can you use a diffrent type of viniger or do you have to use white viniger

  • @jermal131 as far as i can tell any vinegar would work, at least some others. that's why some dispute the colour

  • do you stir it at all, or will that keep the crystals from forming?

  • @TheSnakThatSmilesBak don't stir it just let it boil

  • Sodium Acetate

  • how did you get the final result that clear

  • @TheJutyre it's the type of vinegar i believe. i use white vinegar

  • @TARDISvision how is it clear

  • @TheJutyre white vinegar instead of another kind

  • About 2:6

  • whats the ratio of Vingegar/Baking Soda?

  • Wow this is the most simple way to make hot ice thxs man keep up more good vids

  • @colinguys yeah, it's just a laymans term because that's what it looks like... many times i've said 'it's not actually ice, it's a super-saturated solution.'

  • Why does the reaction only start when you touch it?

  • Does it melt back?

If it does, could you use the melted liquid to make more ice?

  • @robloxbananaking it's not actually ice, it's a super-saturated solution. so it doesn't melt. the only way you could re-use it is to mix it in with more vinegar and boil it down again.

  • @TARDISvision Ah, ok.

    I feel stupid now XD

  • @TARDISvision YOU CAN PUT IT IN THE MICROWAVE

  • @TheFisherman000 not to boil it down...

  • @TARDISvision i meant after you use it you can microwave it

  • CAN YOU EAT IT? like regular water ice?

  • @SmexiKuriboh it'll taste terrible but there's no reason why you couldn't

  • @TARDISvision lol ok :3 i was just wondering.

  • Can you use baking POWDER instead...?

  • @xtakingchancesdorksx no. no you can not.

  • no water??

  • @GreatQueenFan no water

  • how long do you to boil the viger and the baking soda

  • it's like your glass bowl was hit by a rocket and you could be iceman

  • TARDISvison i called u tard cuz i didnt wanna type out TARDISvision! Its just short for your name gosh just lay off man i didn't mean any harm :|

  • WOOOOOOOW i gona make it

  • Can u eat ir

  • @computerprincess1 it'll taste terrible but there's no reason why you couldn't

  • can i used only 500mL vinegar and 35g f baking soda??

  • @muslihahlaoshi I haven't tried but I assume so.

  • Awesome.about to go do diss!!! xD

  • Is this fake because i though when you do this homemade form baking soda and vinegar it should come out as a rich yellow color

  • @Marco619456 you're not the first to ask this, no, it's not fake, it probably turns yellow if you use a different type of vinegar.

  • @TARDISvision i just made it, (thanks btw for the instructions :)) i used vinegar with white wine, but it is a yellowish color, if u use the white vinegar it will stay white too.

  • what kind of vinegar do you need and where do you get it?

  • @Marco619456 the video tells you what kind, and if you don't already have it you can get it anywhere that sells groceries
