Yes, it's actually Jan Berry with his then-girlfriend Jill Gibson (who briefly replaced Michelle Phillips in "The Mamas & The Papas"), this was originally a B-side. BTW, Jan did the production and horn arrangement for this recording.

The only reason Jill replaced M phillips,is she was doing lou adler at the time and he manged and produced Mammas and Pappas records.
