Brrr It's Cold In Southern California

one of my college is from cali and she says the coldest it gets there is like 56 F. when its 56 F here in NY, we are celebrating the warm weather!

try coming to alberta. then you will know what cold means. -28C or -15F right now with a windchill of -40C/-40F. and 3 ft of snow

Of course, we realise it's colder in about a million other places on this planet -- but to Southern Californian's that enjoy 75-80 degree weather year round, a chill like this is noteworthy because it is EXTREMELY rare.

i know i know. i realize that californians are almost never exposed to cold weather and this would be a big deal for them. i just think its funny. last time i was in cali it was about 24'C or around 80-85'F and there were people in sweaters and jackets and they knew exactly where i was from cuz i had a t shirt, shorts and flip flops on and i was sweating a bit haha. the hottest it has ever been in my city(edmonton) is like 33'C somethin like 93-95'F.

global warming doesn't necessarily make everything warmer, it just changes the climate. If it gets much hotter globally then the gulf stream might stop running and then all of europe will freeze like siberia

Over here in Belgium it's the opposite. Over here it still hasn't frozen and there's still lo snow. It's exceptionally warm for the season
