Excellent video, ''shanejensen''..I really love all scenes....including the interior of the luxury jetliner...as well as the gorgeous cloudscapes..including the many distant thunderheads shown.... BTw...my first jetliner flight was in the middle of a severe Tstorm, in Montevideo, Uruguay, South America....I wan't quite 7 then..but I do remember the event very well..and saw constant sheet lightning after landed in Buenos Aires, Argentina...then later we headed up to JFK airport (NYC)...
Dont worry about having the camera on during takeoff or landing or even at FL i am a pilot in training for my PPL and it has been proven that it will not have any effect on the plane.
That's what they say, but I don't think it does. A few people have commented on several of these type of videos and said there have been studies that show personal electronics have no effect. I don't know how true that is, but I like to think it is.
I love the takeoffs as well and also the landings. Yeah, some landings can be rough, but it depends on more than just the pilots I think. It also depends on wind conditions which can make a world of difference. So you fly a C 172? Cool.
Nope but its only because if theres some kind of accident, more than likely the airlines will sort of "cover up" what happened. But if you are recording then you have proof that such and such happened.
i love airplanes, i am going to pr in less than a week and i currently take flight lessons up in Dutchess county, another great video shane, the winglets of the airplane look pretty cool
Sup shane!!!

Diamondchild26233 2 years ago

turbulance

No, not really. Even in smooth takeoffs I can get that sensation sometimes.

i love when you take off in the rain and the little droplets slowly to move over the window as you go faster and turn into streaks.

yah you can but the radio waves the camcorder generates could interfer with the planes instruments

I love the takeoff but I sorta hate the landings, it all depends on the pilots. But when I fly the cessna 172, its nice and smooth...

You fly?
chad2000k 2 years ago
Only as a passenger.
shanejensen 2 years ago
As much as I can in my spare time.

Are you allowed to use cameras during the take off process?

Nope, but I do it anyway.

chad2000k 2 years ago
Which is all the reason to record. Covering up what happened is dishonest.
shanejensen 2 years ago
True...
I should record on the next flight... I had my GPS on during flight and that didn't do anything so yeah...
chad2000k 2 years ago
A GPS? Cool. Was it that Garmin type thing that actually records where you were and can download it onto the computer as digital charts?
shanejensen 2 years ago
Lol no not that type, just navigation.
