  • this is your captain speaking, this is your captain singing

  • This is fantastic!

  • whoever came up with "this is your captain singing" should get a raise

lol i hope my next captain does that

  • so is this supporting Delta or is it made by delta?

  • They used to show this on planes if you fly some of the 767's they had this on the TV's before the show/movies. So yeah, its made by them just for fun :)

  • @brant51993 yes from delta but they did it for fun as one of the crew told me on the flight i was on i told then it was a brilant idea and they should do more and they said they will :D

  • BRILLIANT, Its so true !

  • Oh my goodness...DELTA IS WONDERFUL!!!

  • Oh and BTW the revenue to buy new planes usually comes from the sale of liquor and duty free items on board flights. So technally you won't have to pay more per ticket to help finance new aircraft. If you want new aircraft help out by getting drunk...J/K. Oh and these are meant to be funny so don't take them so serious.

  • Okay so the guy talking all the plane expansion non-sense is all backwards. The reaso planes pack in as many passengers as they can is simple. They have to have enough people on each flight to cover the cost of the flight and still have enough people lefter over to turn a profit. So you can have fewer seats so you can be comfortable and you have to pay more for the ride or you can suck it up and be inconveinienced for what 2-3 hours. I say suck it up and move on.

  • Yeah, pushing and fighting one's way back to the seat can be quite annoying for both sides.

But next time I'll do the lavdance - the most realistic kind of mile high club :-)

  • This is your Captain speaking, "This is your Captain Singing.

  • lol

  • Just find a way to get back to your seat without being dramatic and attracting undue attention to oneself.

  • lmao!

  • u go granny

  • I'm getting from this that the woman exiting the lavatory is being painted in a bad light. To me, though, it's the people who have queued up who are causing the problem! Sit down and wait your turn.

The editors of these reality series always pick a villain, then cut the film to make them look like the bad guy. The lavatory lady was framed!!!!

  • Yeah delta only buys them. But its nice to see us all united against airline shittyness.

  • lol ill be honest... ive never seen this happen before :p

  • AHH, get over yourself!

Kudos to Delta for finally addressing the piggish, low class level of behavior for the socially inept travelling public!

It's about time some airline did something like this!!!!

  • oh you are so right. everyone should have their own personal bathroom. Hey I know, let's make everyone seat act as a toilet as well! Ohh and to solve the arm rest and "light" problems make everyone have their own personal house on the plane!

    Idiot.

What the hell do you think is going to happen when 50 people go to the bathroom at the same time. A ****ING line up that's what. God stop taking everything so fucking seriously.

  • First of all you have bad manners and you need to watch your language. YOU are the person these videos were made for.

I feel sorry for the poor schmo that sits next to you on a plane..

  • Shut up, stop copying and pasting things to each damn video and really nobody cares what you think. Until a better airline than Delta comes to power, I dont care what your complaints about Delta are.

  • The point is here is do onto others. Don't worsen the problem by doing things you, yourself, would find obnoxious from someone else's shoes.

Okay, the aisles are too narrow. Let's shrink down those seats to make some room! Oh, but now the seats are too small. Let's shrink down the aisles to make more room. Oh, wait.

Guess we'll just have to throw out all the old planes and bulk up the diameter of each one by five feet.

But then we'll just get fatter, and we're back to square one.

  • Just shut up, no one cares what you have to say anymore. You're just a broken record that goes on and on for everyone of these videos.

  • These are kind of cute, but until people learn decent manners it won't make a difference.

  • So Delta is taking time to show things from a passengers perspective? Why not just show us how you plan on IMPROVING these horrible situations. Instead of telling me about the ridiculously long bathroom lines I need to wade through to get back to my seat, why not tell me how you're making the plane and aisles bigger so that I'll have room to walk down said aisle.

  • Delta doesn't make the planes.

    The videos are funny.

  • Delta buys the plane and all the major carriers consult with Boeing and Airbus on how they want things designed. If Delta KNOWS their aisles are tiny and uncomfortable (as illustrated by this video) than they should work with the airplane manufacturers to design planes with less seats and larger aisles. The idea that they're aware of what bothers passengers and aren't doing anything to solve is insulting.

  • but then the cost of doing so trickles down to the consumer, US...I would rather have a bit of a squeeze to the lavatory than pay any more than I have to with flights.

  • SgtCheese - The cost of doing what trickles down? Delta is going to buy a new fleet of planes (and pass the cost on down to you) when it needs a new fleet of planes. I'm not asking them to throw out or refurbish their old planes, but to walk onto a brand new 767 plane in 2007 and still view rows of "3" is ludicrous. Customers have ALWAYS hated 3 seat rows and there is no cost in designing planes that you PLANNED TO BUY ANYWAY to better suit your customers needs.

  • I think airbus is making a new 320 with 3 rows of two, but you pay for it with really narrow aisles.

  • The cost of expanding the plane to give the aisles more room is how it would trickle down. It is like when a business is taxed more, it trickles down to the consumer because the price of the product is increased. Businesses do their best to never LOST profits, only stabilize or increase them. Hence it will trickle down to the consumer. Basic economics.

  • Basic economics? The cost of a new plane is going to trickle down to us ANYWAY, regardless of row and seat design. All I'm saying is: If you're buying a new fleet anyway (and passing on the price to me) PLEASE buy planes with 2 seat rows, not 3 seat rows. SgtCheese - I don't want to them to expand their current planes, but to make better decisions when buying NEW ones.

  • Do you work for delta, wayne tv? Either that, or you have no clue about airlines. There ARE differences in the overall experience, einstein, depending on the carrier.

  • Oh my goodness...DELTA IS WONDERFUL!!! People should be appreciating that Delta is taking to time to show things from a PASSENGERS PROSPECTIVE and that they understand what you all feel!

For the ones that "hate" Delta...Delta doesnt do anything differnet from what any other air carrier does. If it happened on Delta, I will bet you 1 million dollars that it will happen on another carrier. So lets not single out Delta when thats just the Airline industry...

  • yeah webeffect is rite i mean i personally think jetairways is good. and i want my one million dollas cuz jet airways gives u a hot towel in the beginning and candy and toys b4 the plane takes off so yeah UR RONG!

  • im a flight attendant, and dont understand WHY YOU ALL NEED TO MAKE A LINE at the back of the plane, and stick your ass in the last row aisle guys' face! Where is your common sense!??! Get your ass out of that guys face!!!

Also, the flight attendants know when you dont wash your hands. And then you procede to touch every headrest on the way back to your seat. You are gross.

  • Amen.

  • Tell it how it is!! I watch it happen every flight!

Also....WEAR YOUR SHOES WHEN YOU GO IN TOE LAVE. THAT'S NOT WATER ON THE FLOOR!!

  • Thank you!! That so grosses me out!! What kind of person goes barefoot in public places anyway?

  • Why is Delta reminding us of the "Un-pleasures" of flying and in particular of flying "50%" on time Delta?

    Are they laughing at us?

Sometimes when an ad agency pitches an idea, they're just trying to win awards.

Why not just have Delta employees read customer complaints and then go around the room as they go bwahahahaha ... it woudl serve the same purpose as these ads.

    What a waste of money.

  • This is genious! Kudos to Delta! They should make a REAL good one in the length of 1:30 (standard full length commercial) and turn use it for a commercial!

  • i agree
