There were load protests from the RP supporters because we had played the game according to Gail Neira & gave her over an hour of our precious time because she invited us to come & vote. The impression is that you squelched the democratic process when it became apparent that your guy was not going to win. After all, you bought and paid for the poll, right? Ron Paul is the only conservative Republican in the mix. It's a shame some in the party don't yet see that - perhaps the DVD being shared/spread between Republicans (re:Obsession; Radical Islam) needs to be tempered with Rush to War or just a reading of the Constitution.

As for the hotel: Why did you sell reservations for spots you did not have? You seem like a perfectly reasonable person otherwise, but that doesn't make sense.
As others have noted, the rationale for cancellation is thin. It looks like there was an alterior motive for it.
