I don't think I like the new direction they're going. The song is good, but it doesn't remind me of Spineshank at all and I don't see me any time soon agreeing with their opinion that it's gonna be the best album yet.
The only song that's somewhat new that I like is "pumped up kicks" from that one band that only makes one good song and the rest are shit.. And I only like it because it reminds me of columbine and I'm into fucked up shit like that.
No dislikes? Good! I'm glad there are no idiots here who would dare click the dislike button. I CANNOT wait for their new album. It's gonna be so bad-ass. >:D
Doesn't sound like SpineShank... But I like it anyway. Been waiting forever for them to release that new album, so i'm having high expectations, hopefully there's songs on it that have the SpineShank-ish sound to them.
I dont like to label music, but this doesn't really sound like spineshank. I'm not complaining, and I know they have a new singer. But it reminds me of some other band. Just sayin' xp
Not bad but kinda misses that industrial feeling that worked well with their songs.I liked that about them.Wel, we'll have just to wait to see the rest.
i hate when people try to categorize EVERY SINGLE artist into some stupid sub-genre. WHO CARES! Most artists say how unnecessary this labeling is, they either make music you like or music you don't like PERIOD!
I think its sick, definently getting the album. Whats wrong with being stuck in early 2000's? I enjoy the sound, im glad atleast one band has got it still.
@rongold360 soz for replying on 2 months old comment but man, you are 10000% right. I miss soooo much those years, especialy when "old" bands becoming... emm.. different. Loosing this spark of eneregy from 2000's. And yes, its cool to have SpineShank which reminds me of those years and did not lost this spark
When I was 18, back in 2000, I loved the song Synthetic. This song right here? It sounds like it belongs back in 2000, at the beginning of the NuMetal invasion that ruined the hard rock scene. Sorry guys, you need to innovate, not be stuck in the past.
@batmessiah Rofl, no dude, Pop Punk, Screamo, Finger Elevens "Paralyzer", and That irritating Seether shit from 2007 "Fake it" and everybody who copied that sound ruined the hard rock scene. Nu Metal was awesome, it was the only thing that brought anything new to the table actually.(Example: Crossbreed)
Spineshank recently signed a deal with Century Media and their album will be released the first week of June. Spread the word!!!

Nu Metal? Do you think this is 2000's Nu Metal? I don't think so, this is stinky metalcore.
