I'm wondering, how many of you Missionistas are aware that the Mission District was originally an Irish neighborhood? It used to be 90% Irish and 10% Italian.
A lot of you sound like the same idiot white racists who constantly spit on Latinos and get angry when they move into their neighborhood.

No they're not. I live two blocks from here, have been here all of my life. The Mission is still very much here, and some streets like Valencia have improved.
i went here and it was really artsy but i ran into a local and he said the street i was on had a lot of gang activity. i left shortly after that. Lol. but i saw some really cool murals.
parts of the mission are very bad but i am from S.F lived here my hole life... this town is block to block for sure,if you say the hole mission is dangerous , You dont know what the hell your talking about!parts of the Mission are very bad.. but u cant just say the hole mission ,because there are some cool spots to live for sure...
I love SF and am trying to move there but my mom thinks the Mission is a "hard" area. This video makes it look artsy I showed her and she changed her mind 'it must have changed' she said. He he he!!! Anyone looking for roommates??
well if you know the mission then you know it is a hard area to live because of the gangs and all the shootings and there are currently ms13 gang members there that have shot other gang members and even random people to show their worthiness and i just think its just gonna get more violent but im not telling you to not live their but just watch where you walk at night or even in the day
well this is deffinately good advice for any area with a crime rate, i wouldnt go walking around at night and am deffinately not moving into the dangerous areas of the mission district, i just want a cheap place to live in the city

I spent some time in the mission a few years back, it was the best!! Very lively neighbourhood, to me it's the best in SF.

No they're not. I live two blocks from here, have been here all of my life. The Mission is still very much here, and some streets like Valencia have improved.
