Guys, I feel a lot of tension in here. Loosen it up, mga kaibigan. We are all Filipinos here. I know that each one of us has our own opinions, may it be siding with the religious doctrine or atheism. @IstaylPinoy there is no such "christian doctrine" that says "no"to contraception. It's in fact stated in a verse in the book "Genesis" from the bible that we should "be fruitful, multiply, and SUBDUE it".

@seconds2death I don't think you understood a single word that I said. I never said that corruption is not a problem. I actually agreed with you that corruption is one of the major problems. But that is NOT THE ONLY problem. There are a lot of major issues such as education, unemployment, overpopulation, etc. Never disregard the other problems of our country and focus on just one single problem just because you happen to believe on a religious belief that other people don't believe in.

@seconds2death I am not an atheist. All I am saying is that the government should not take sides of any religious beliefs. Not all filipinos are Catholics or believers of the Catholic religious beliefs. Imagine if a muslim asks the government to illegalize eating pork because they think it is immoral. Would that be ridiculous? You can believe in anything you want to believe in, but keep it inside your church. The state and the church are seperate establishments that set up their own rules.
