  • Best episode ever :)))

  • Two wonderful entertainers who enjoy throwing all dignity to the wind and yet still keep their humor basically clean.

When Desi Arnaz was first working on the formula for "I Love Lucy" he was very insistent on this; no making fun of spastics or the mentally retarded, and, if it had been done in more recently, no really smarmy sex jokes.

Carol and Lucy do just fine this way and we love them.

  • if you watch this episode of this show, then lucy's reaction is 50000000 times more priceless!

  • my name is Hannah lol

  • I watched this with my neighbor a few months ago and we both laughed so hard that we cried lol!

  • the 1 dislike is hannah

  • what year was this

  • @joplin49b 1966

  • This woman is a comedic Goddess!

  • I'm watching in now on DVD. I love this episode along with the palm springs episode.

  • Brilliant Carol Burnett Class act

  • Love it!!!

  • best show ever!!!

  • Oh this makes me smile from ear to ear! I love Carol Burnett!

  • HAHAHA!!!

  • what skit is this from

  • What's the beginning bit that she sings: "Gather round me brethren, and listen to this hymm" - that's not hard hearted hannah. Lol. I'm also a huge trueblood fan. That's how I found this - I fell in love with the song when I heard Bill the vampire singing it =)

  • Humm... Look closely. Could this be the same set ued for the Dick Van Dyke show living room? Both Lucy and Vandyke's shows were filmed at Desilu studios until 1967 when it was sold to Gulf Western.

  • haha was that lucy? what was this from?

  • absolutely spectacular

  • This was an episode of The Lucy Show. I forget the premise of the episode, but I remember Carol played a hypochondriac who had trouble coming out of her shell.

  • @tifah1209

Yes, that was Lucy. This is from her show, The Lucy Show, after I Love Lucy ended.

  • There is just nothing like this out there anymore...

  • THIS WAS ON TRUE BLOOD!!!

sorry but i love that show

  • Oh, Miss Carol! How we adore you!

    Thanks for posting this, DentelTV2!

    Best wishes....

  • this is a great song!

  • Excellent, thanks for posting. Any idea what year this is from? I would guess early to mid 1960's?

  • i believe it's from 1963.

  • this was from 1966 she was pregnant with one of her daughters here

  • @birminghamoi was she really pregnant?

  • @RoPWU I think she could be when this really is from 1966, because Jody her middle daughter was born in January 1967...and if you look closely sometimes it looks like she is pregnant

  • Great Fun

  • i love Lucys reaction, CLASSIC

  • @santa22622 - I was gonna say the same thing!!! She almost looks truly surpised!

  • @Amystika67

  • Dat was funny a hell! The best part is the end when she clutches her coat like she's covering up.

  • why does this clip keep getting removed?

  • I don't know. I have to keep tracking it down. It's so great and I like to pull it up once in awhile to give me a smile.
