@babeeshopiez123 its definitely not that simple. But eating less is good, as long as not to the extreme. working out is definitely good for you. but try hot yoga. It helped me a lot and it makes u feel really good about urself because its a lot more hardcore than normal workouts. Its called "Bikram" also, 6 small meals, anything that can fit in your palm is a lot healthier for ur metabolism and helps you lose weight. &those girls just peaked. Don't worry. be confident. they're not going anywhere

@idilali actually, it is (in the end) about eating less and exercising more. It doesn't matter how healthy your diet is, if you still eat more than you burn up, you will put on fat. The reason veggies help with weight loss, is because they have a lot of fiber, which fills you up with less calories, but it still comes down to calories in vs calories out
@VanessaTexasGal True say I do understand that in order to maintain or lose weight that you would have to eat certain amount of calories. But what I was trying to get at here is that sometimes people think in order to loose weight they need to starve themselves which of course will only lead to short term weight loss .In order to loose weight forever it is important to have a healthy diet of say around 1800-2000 cals with regular exercise though.

If you seriously do it, replan your food intake to the healthiest possible and get enough excersise and you still do not loose fat, then you might have an underlying health condition. Stay strong. The condition to which you're referring is called Pica. It's when one craves nonfood items such as clay, dirt, laundry soap, etc. (and usually while pregnant or when lacking in nutritional areas). I've been struggling with anorexia & bulimia for over a decade and have spent much time in both OP and IP treatments. This movie doesn't do the literature it was based on any justice whatsoever, but I don't think that anyone can say that eating disorders do not affect victims in the way portrayed in this film because, like finger prints, every case of anorexia and bulimia is different.
she is pretty. but this movie is kind of insulting. ive been battling an eating disorder for years, this movie makes it out to seem like people with eating disorders are crazy. we are just like everyone else. everybody just has different ways of copeing.

@Brooke684 i think pia is wen they eat things that are not food lik paper and chalk. wen i got pregnant i started wanting to eat paper. my doctor says its normal for pregnant women and she called it pia. it happens when you become anorexic too.

@izzytrip - Thank you for replying; I appreciate it; however, as it turns out, there's a girl in that hospital named "Pia." It's shown towards the end. The condition to which you're referring is called Pica. It's when one craves nonfood items such as clay, dirt, laundry soap, etc. (and usually while pregnant or when lacking in nutritional areas). I hope this makes sense. I wrote it really fast, but, again, thank you ... =)

This movie is so unrealistic and has bad acting... I'll watch it anyway, but seriously... Why is every girl in that treatment center stick thin? People with EDs can be ANY weight... especially her bulimic roommate... honestly, she looks anorexic (I know that realy doesn't mean anything, but if I person who knows nothing about EDs is watching this, it reenforces the concept that girls with EDs are all thin.)
The lines are like bad fanfic...

I've been struggling with anorexia & bulimia for over a decade and have spent much time in both OP and IP treatments. This movie doesn't do the literature it was based on any justice whatsoever, but I don't think that anyone can say that eating disorders do not affect victims in the way portrayed in this film because, like finger prints, every case of anorexia and bulimia is different.

she is pretty. but this movie is kind of insulting. ive been battling an eating disorder for years, this movie makes it out to seem like people with eating disorders are crazy. we are just like everyone else. everybody just has different ways of copeing.

@skylynn24 I don't think this movie depicts people with eating disorders as crazy. I have also had to deal with eating disorder myself and I can relate to this movie a lot. I really like this movie despite the bad acting.
