Just to let people know Gizmo5 isn't available for sign up anymore. Google recently bought them out and may integrate this whole thing into Google Voice.
So let's suppose that I've done all of this. Then, I grab my iPod touch and open the "fring" app, signing into Skype. I plug in a headset, and then use the Google Voice webapp to call my friend. It rings it through to Skype/Fring, and I pick up the call on my ipod. Right?
If I did all of that, would I be able to receive calls via skype/fring on my ipod?

YEAH GOOGLE VOICE NOW HAS ITS ON WAY TO RECIEVE CALLS AND DIAL OUT OVER THE COMP..ITS PRETTY GOOD..AND FREE UNTIL THE END OF THE YR I HEARD

Dmar198 If you have fring...You can setup the Gizmo account...It's more powerful than forward to Skype..

When I'm forwarding from google voice, do I have to enter a physical phone in order to forward calls to the SIP and then to Skype?

I don't think so all you need is the SIP number no other numbers are required.
