yawn .. any engine can work hard ...what do you do for better economy ?? I have a 600 isx in a fld120 and can get 11 empty and 13 bobtail.with a few simple mods I have made.. want to know if a holset hx83 w can fit on a isx ?? it is on the qsx for 750 hp .. drive safe
@vmaxfodder show me proof of those numbers or i call bullshit. First off you cant just go throwing turbos off and on espcially not the qck version. and a 600isx would have to be a retrofit. and your mpg numbers are complete bullshit

on the road relay 4 its got the horsepower its putting out as well as fuel economy revs some just have the percentage of load on the motor like it might say 50% but some like ours tells you the horsepower if you put your foot on our 620 and get it to about 1850 rpm we have had it up to 642
it's blokes like you that put these trucks under so much pressure and labouring the motors and then you wonder WHY you blow turbo's.... unbelievable and you call yourselves PROFESSIONALS...
nice vid .... but trucks now are too quiet inside ... roll the widows down one day and do that climb again !! ive got a grotty old t line inter running around brisbane and it sounds so sweet to me ... no air .. 18 speed and an awsome jake brake ... ( im a 50 year old hoon ) !!!
the new acerts are a cunt of a motor i know blokes who have the c15s set at 550 that eat the 625 acert plus the heavy on fuel on are have trouble with the studs on the 1 of the turbos breaking the generation 2 cummins are a good motor although the first signatures where a disater cummins changed the piston design on the gen 2s and they are going okay we got a 620 gen signature and by the road relay it will put out over 640
gday mate. what do you mean by 640? horsepower? if so how do you look at the horsepower on the road relay. iv drive a k104b with sig 620 in it, one of the last ones before they went to EGR ISX .btw we have a ISX600 108 which isnt a bad thing either. knowing cummins it will take them a couple of updates before they get it right, then the will stop making it.
and yeh iv heard heaps of horror stories bout the ACERTS. turbos falling off, and just no pulling power.

had a 620 and blew a turbo with reverberated back and took the other one out ... i lost a whole day ... the new signature starts at 600 and can be boosted to 650 hp with the right stuff .. so cummins are right up there
It would be interesting to get a comparison of a Cat doing the same hill, with the same weight on board, Personally, i think the cummins would run rings around the Cat haha
