I think it's "All These Vicious Dogs" by Will Oldham. I haven't watched the movie in a while, so I may be mistaken as to where that song occurs in it, but that song is definitely in the movie.

This is one of those movies that grew on me. The first time I saw it I didn't like it(with the exception of Zooey Deschanel). I still think that some of the dramatic scenes were unintentionally funny and some of the performances were a little stiff but it is a great movie. And Zooey Deschanel should've been nominated for an Oscar.
