Attention allways use 1% two stroke oil in your fuel preventing fuels system corrosion and carbs clogging using E10 or other modern too dry eco fuels.
I have got a very good hint for you to keeping the nice old Engine in good shape with todays ultra dry eco fuels: Use 1:100 API TC two stroke oil / fuel mix as regular driving fuel, that keeps the old fuel-system gaskets, rubber parts, alloy parts etc... and cast iron metal surfaces of those vintage engines in excellent shape...and it also lubricates the valves and upper piston regions. Most Porsche vintage owners in Germany do so :) Also keeps carbs and tank clean and rustfree

Mate if it is like that every morning, tune her up! I dont like the tube around the plug leads, I think it promotes the spark leaking from one plug wire to another. I have never had an Alfetta, but want one before I die!
sounds like it stood stil for 20 years to me. ;-)

1.6 model year '78-79, the 2 Dellorto DHLA 40 must be cleaned. Battery is too small, and spark plugs must be replaced with his Lodge or Bosch 4-tips.
