Thanks for sharing, it's nice to see the man's grave on film. Together with Robert E. Howard's Cross Plains Providence is one place I'd like to visit in connection to it's famous author.
I was there in the summer of 2011. What a calm and mysterious place that was... I put a page of one of his books on the grave. When I arrived there, I saw a couple reading H.P. Lovecraft near the tomb stone. It was already covered with squids and this VERY weird symbol, which looked masonic.
Very cool video! I have tremendous respect for HP and have also had the privilage of seeing his tombstone. I have captured a couple EVP's on benefit st one of which is most definitely a deep male voice, I would not be surprised if it was HP or Edgar Allan Poe reaching out to me. I also want to say I'm a big fan of the Lizzie Borden B&B!
o I can´t believe that a guy who influenced so many book authors, painters and movies can have such a humble tomb. It´s ironic. And the worst is that those who stole his ideas never mention him or even thank him. I guess it was his destiny...Thanks for sharing.
