Most of people give up on the guitar or any other instrument because they don't wanna learn the "boring" parts and those are the most important parts, you can't start and expect to be Jimmy Page in the next day
@AntmanFelix I dont know the song name but at 0:36 it says music provided by the interview guest Paul Jackson Jr. and shows an album cover titled "Lay It Back". pay attention!
@frettedamericana This is one of those truly special insider interviews. Thank you so much for posting this! It's a great insight into the world of session guitar players. All around class acts!
Well, it's like, and like, uh huh, ya know, and like ya feel it, and bam, there it is...yea, I hear ya! Great interview combo! I am such an X fan; time to replay...Wahi'
Its always interesting to hear the opinion from the professionals, there is always much to learn, and in the end the most people "if not all" who stopping here are musicians ;)
@HackerGuitarist This is just a special series.. an interview so you can hear from a couple of pros about the Evil Robot and what they think about it... there are new guitar reviews on the way and a little jam between Phil and Paul coming up as well... Just trying to do some new things and keep the show fresh... sorry if you don't dig it..
somehow you managed to create a youtube channel that serves its purpose very well, advertising your business and its amazingness, while creating some serious entertainment!
@ThaUltimateDragon Fender already owned the name "Tone Monster" so they changed it to Evil Robot, Phil explains it in the first interview video with Paul Jackson :P
Amazing comments about the line between writing and arranging. As a songwriter I've worked with a lot of players who feel they are 'writing', when in reality they are colouring in a pencil sketch given to them by the writer. On the flip side, when an instrumental part a player comes up with 'makes' the song, you've gotta give credit where it's due. I suppose it's all about working relationships at the end of day and knowing what is expected of each other. Can't wait for parts 3 + 4! Great stuff!
@ClassicShotMK3 Pedals don't suck... People who rely on pedals suck... And also a pedal version would be less expensive... Because people can't afford the real thing... I'm aware that the sound of the evil robot is more than the just the sum of its parts but a pedal would be a way to bring part of the tone to more people.
@henrytdsimmons I guarantee you if they made a Evil Robot Distortion pedal it would cost at least $200, no make that $300 cause it would be made in the U.S

Yeah it is, but not worth it for a pedal, I'd rather just spend a couple hundred more on a amp, what ever kind it may be.

@ClassicShotMK3 It's still a damn sight less than the amp (which i think is reasonably priced considering the components etc)
