Bouldergeist wasnt as hard as i though but he was still challenging and really annoying. The first time i faced him i died about 6 times but the daredevil run is a diffrent story I DIED AT LEAST 18 TIMES!

But thats what i like about bosses challenging and/or annoying and epic!

When he makes those lines of rocks at about 1:32, you can just spin into those to break them, if you find you're having difficulty. Usually they won't be a problem, but sometimes you'll hit them accidentally instead of Bouldergeist. How Mario's able to smash through them, I'll never know, but he is.

Yeah, The Daredevil version takes EXTREME patience, because when i tried rushing it, i kept dying, but when i played it safe, it felt a lot easier XD That's nintendo logic for ya, it's mainly games of patience

This is definitely one of the coolest bosses ever, anywhere.

I hear lots of people have trouble on the Daredevil run of this guy. Funny story: it took me about ten tries to beat him on normal mode (I was too stubborn to get the 6-life 'Shroom), then when I finally did, the Daredevil comet immediately came into orbit. I went in, and toasted this sucker on the first go. Hooray!

When I fought this boss, I first thought of Bogmire from Luigi's Mansion in how he summons little ghosts and that he's somewhat of a shadow thing and Bogmire was like a ghost blob thing.

Also just the arena itself made me think of him.
