I don't understand why most people have to bash on the goalie. The kids are only EIGHT for crying out loud. Not all eight year olds are born to make it into the NHL. A lot of kids play sports regardless of their skill level when they are young because parents just love the idea. My dad threw me into hockey at the age of five even before I was taught how to skate! All kids play sports for fun at this age regardless if they are skilled or not. Besides, all people make embarrassing mistakes.
