then in 2 corinthians recommended reinstatement when the disfellowshipped person had shown genuine repentance. The organization of early christians at that time did not indulge in what you refer to as "independant thinking", but rather they obeyed the messages conveyed to them by the governing body (apostles) of that time. This disfellowshipping and reinstating edict was before that not written in scripture. A parallel to the way Jehovah's organization works in our day.
In the apostle Paul's day, there was an organization made up of different congregations. This is made obvious by the fact that Paul sent letters to the different congregations in Phillipi, Corinthia, Ephesia, Galatia, etc. Jesus told the apostles to "feed my sheep". Paul also wrote things that were in his time not yet written in scripture. But what he wrote to them was meant to give "proper food at the proper time" such as 1 corinthians where he recommended that they disfellowship wrongdoers and
God's teachings by themselves are the greatest threat to your teachings, your teachings are evil=2
2+2=4
If anything of God's threatens anything of yours than yours is evil because God is absolute righteousness!
If you notice the WTBTS doesn't attack the other gospels out there, the other Christs of Mormons, Christian Science, Bahai, Oneness... Only the tenants of the historical Christian faith?
Amazing in the WTAug15,1981 on page29 the GB compares people who test what they are taught with the word of God as being like Satan. Satan wasn't guilty of fault finding or independent thinking, there is no fault in God, God made us capable of independent thinking. What does God say about independent thinking? Acts(17:11)These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
It's amazing how skittish the WT is concerning people debating with others. They KNOW how weak there positions are...and a little scrutiny will more than demonstrate it. Even more amazing is all the self appointed apologists we see here on YT that disobey the Org for the sake of defending it!
@msm1876, it's such a clear contradiction isn't it. The Watchtower claims to be the only channel of absolute truth yet doesn't allow for it's followers to defend it's teachings, if you have the truth you have nothing to fear because the truth can withstand any scrutiny. The only reason to shrink from debate or defense of your position is if it is founded on a lie that cannot be defended. The WT is based on 'the present lie of Applewhite theorum but the lie is checkable, that is what they fear
@msm1876 Well...guess what. I'm disfellowshipped and have been for over 20 yrs. so I can be on here if I wish. Of course nobody wins debates...all they are are agreements to disagree. So instead, let's deal with reason, common sense and facts...both scripturally and historically. First it is only fair to allow you to look up some unbiased (no W.T. involvement) information on the internet as concerns the 3 main doctrines of your teachings...that's right...the very 3 that you base all your beliefs
@msm1876 upon...the trinity..immortality of the soul..the symbol of the cross. Yahoo or google search the origins of them. Read them well as these are documents written by well known, well educated, highly regarded and respected historians. Then get back to me and let me know how many of them these qualified historians told you could be found or documented amongst the early christians. You are a reasonable person, are you not? If so, get back to me and we'll reason on what you came
@msm1876 across there. After all, if I'm wrong then you would out of love and concern want to offer proof, right? Oh, and make sure that you fully understand how those 3 main doctrines of yours were being explained to people at their point of origin. After all, you wouldn't want me teaching lies would you?? and I'm sure you yourself wouldn't want to be teaching lies either. When you are done..please get back to me..thanx.
Nice job brother. There own words condemn them over and over again as people who believe that they are the masters over God's word as opposed to being slaves to God's word. Well done my friend.
@21crosscheck21, they do condemn themselves believing themselves as the masters over God's Word rather than being slaves to it which is the false title they wear. The Word of God is actaully the greatest threat to any false gospel - Mormons, UPC, Christian Science, Worldwide Church of God, Health and Wealth, 7th Day Adventists, Potters House, Word power movement... the message of the cross is simple yet can't be heard by those who see it as foolishness or refuse to accept it's simplicity.
@WakeUpWitness, I thought I did on everything. Please help me and tell me where I didn't so I can fix it. Your videos are in my favorites by the way, you are a rich and wonderful resource!
Please any Jehovah's Witness challenge what this video says, it is using the literature of the WTBTS not falsely accussing it. Jehovah's Witnesses know this message is to you out of love to free you from ravenous wolves who are in sheeps clothing!

I think this is a simple as 2+2=4

You should have quoted WHERE the quote exactly came from or a witness will never believe anything from this video......just a thought.
