Ive been listening to Scott Mills for a few years now and the thing I find most strange is even though he "came out" as being gay a few years back, he seems to desperately want his listeners to believe he's actually straight and quite often pokes fun at gay people generally.

For this reason, I really dislike the guy and he really makes me cringe. It makes you think, is he ashamed of the way he is?

He's a desperately sad individual if thats the case.

Yeah, he came out a few years ago, it says it on his wikipedia page as well. Not that it actually matters at all whether anyone is gay/bi/straight... And you'll notice when listening to his show he *NEVER* refers to girlfriends or ex-girlfriends, only "partner" which is sad that he feels like he has to hide it by not saying "boyfriend"
