  • Where reading this in class and where cracking up the whole peter.anne love scene! lmao

  • mipe....

  • Im Margot <3 I was going to be Anne but there was no girl older than me at callbacks :(

  • can't wait for my audition in a couple weeks...Anne here I come <3

  • I had to read Anne's part in school... And the boy I like played Peter... AWKWARD! But really annoying because people kept on bringing it up even my English teacher! But I think it helped... In a way... ;)

  • ok my phase NOW is Anne Frank i want to know what happened

  • Rubbish i have seen it at school its nothink like that that i seen

  • Nice, some comic relief before the sad ending :). I really like that

  • There not making it a comadey this is how one of the version's of the play was writen? i think its a really good play they did : ) <3

  • @Shipoopi494

How would you know what their kisses were like?

  • wow that was some kiss.....

  • hey is the girl that played anne, on the improv team ?

i swear her voice sound s exactly like the girl from the informative video, like during a life event they had obsessive/

  • lmao anne and peter nasty

  • there's absolutely no chemistry between anne and peter =/

  • whats the invasion i forgot

  • d-day, d-day is when the Americans landed on the beaches of Normandy. It was on June 6, 1944.

  • @Iperogie

Just the Americans? Do you think you won the war all on your own, then? TYPICAL!!!

Join in 3 years late and think you won it on your own

That should have read ALLIES landed

  • Shame to se so many grown men unwilling to fight for their familiies.

  • ...wow...ok...so doing research by looking up other people's take on the play is...weird...not be horribly rude or anything but...it doesn't seem like it should be a comedy. It's tragic actually..and since I am in theatre I know quite well that Peter is closing himself off when he faces away from the audience.

  • I agree, it shouldn't be a comedy....

  • THIS IS SOOOO FUNNY!!!!!!!!!!!

  • she is giving up hope

  • I don't quite understand why the sister wouldn't eat. Could someone please explain?

  • she was getting sick

  • oh thanks

  • i'm auditioning for the role of anne tomorrow and no offense but the girl who plays anne in this is no inspiration. she is completely different than we all imagined anne would be. she uses the same tone in her voice with every line...not very good character choices either... sorry. just my opinion don't get upset.

  • i agree. and you don't ever have to apologize for an opinion though. critiscism helps make you get better at things.

  • So true! I played Peter in the play (im a female) and Anne was amazing! She even broke down crying in the play for one part and our kiss was amazing! I saw it on video and I thought we were amazing. This version is entertaining because of the humor and that only.

  • @Iperogie you kissed anne and your a girl wasnt that a little strange

  • Nah, we were friends but sometimes guys whistled in practice...

  • @Iperogie ya i wuld be too embarrassed to do that..

  • @Iperogie Is it on youtube? I would really like to see how you portrayed Peter since you're female. :) I kind of auditioned for Peter jokingly, but I really auditioned to get the role of Margot.

  • @nickjonaseyecandi Did you get the part?

  • Eh...That kiss was so-so. At first, you couldn't see them kiss, then - in a rush of excitment, they whip around and kiss again. I must say, it wasn't much to my liking. The kiss should have been sweeter, and slower. That would have given it a better effect.

  • i totally agree=]

    but it was still sweet..lol

  • haha the kiss was awesome! I mean that was some awesome acting, that was even better than the movie when peter kissed her on the chin! ahaha. good play.

  • i loved that kiss omg

  • I think this was a great rendition of the Diary of Anne Frank! Good work to the actors in this play!

  • It wasn't clear in the movie or the Literature, about why she put the high heels on before she went to the attic with Peter. Was this a metaphor for sex?

  • THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO KISS!

    What....what...what happened!?

Man that was the cutest part in the movie. :]

And in the play version of her diary.

    It was cccuuutteee. :]

  • They did kiss.

  • Yeah I know!

I saw that part after I posted that!

I love how she just jumps all over him!

  • LOL i mean crap

  • lol there all carp

  • Chopin's Nocturne is just so serendipitous at this point in the show. That couldn't work better...really awesome touch.

  • OMG the kiss....akwardness...... O_o

  • were is this theatre

  • we did this play and it was different did u like change the script of something

  • They are all pretty bad. I was in this play but I got in a newspaper. The girl who plays anne frank is artificaly sweet and lively....how pathetic

  • where's part 5?

  • hey this is good :)

i'm playing anne in a production we're just starting so this is useful to see how others do it

i really like margot and mrs van daan here, i think they're really strong :)

  • for those of you who do not know the bool called the diary if anna frank is true story the play was taken from her achuawal diary wich has be poblished by her father

  • The more one listen to these plays the weirder it gets. Ditlieb Felderer's book ANNE FRANK DIARY A HOAX hits the nail right on the head. And now, we are told, new sex writings of Anne have been found. Will we expect to see kid porno introduced shortly in theatrical plays seeing we have to be authentic?

  • Yo ppl who are writing bad comments... ATLEAST WE HAVE A CLUE HOW ANNE FRANK AND THE OTHERS WERE LIVING AND HAVE A CLUE ABOUT THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK THE PLAY DOESN'T HAVE TO BE PERFECT...

  • I'm writing bad comments, I'm in a production of this right now...and we're a month from opening and it's STILL better than this. I do have a clue about the diary, the characters, etc. And while a play can never reach perfection, this is a mess! The acting is wooden, the set is cluttered, the mis-pronounciations are copious. Need I go on?

  • ok, the set is cluttered becuase it is suppose to be an attic. A small place. At least thier doing it and i think it is pretty good for a high school play. why don't oyu guys say nice comments. you guys are so rude,

  • not every one there r like three nices comments

  • thank you so much i love this story even thow most of them die im glad ppl r there to tell her story

  • Yo ppl who are writing bad comments... ATLEAST WE HAVE A CLUE HOW ANNE FRANK AND THE OTHERS WERE LIVING AND HAVE A CLUT ABOUT THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK THE PLAY DOESN'T HAVE TO BE PERFECT...

  • its true...I shouldn't have fussed! You're right...nothing is perfect and it doesn't have to be!

  • dussel rocks. i love his voice.

  • OMG...this is about the worst version of this play I have ever seen...this makes me want to scratch my eyeballs out...there is absolutly no emotion in the lines, the pronunciation of the names are completely off (it's pronounced Pater not Peter, Anneka not Anneky, etc...) Ahhhhhhhh...this is horribly painful to watch...please remove this video as to not let anyone else feel the pain I have felt...

  • i think they were pretty good compared to some versions of this...stick that up ur ass and suck on it!

  • I love how you feel like you "really showed me"...you told me to stick your crappy comment up my ass, and then to suck on it...why don't you just aceept that you are just some hill-billy sitting in your trailer and don't know anything about theater arts...

  • pardon me...but i played Anne in a production of the Diary of Anne Frank...yes...I will admit there are some flaws, but dont all plays have their flaws? I am not a hill billy, thank u very much, I love theatre arts, im sorry if i offended u by saying that you could "stick it up ur ass and suck on it." I am sure you are an arts lover yourself...again I am sorry.

  • These two (Anne and Peter) have so much chemistry...its so cute!

  • have you seen the anne frank movie. peter kisses anne on the cheek, then anne looks at him and he looks at her, then they get closer and closer, then they make out right there!
