hi sorted guys, my sister is allergic to lactose and sugar, and she doesn't eat gluten... it's soon her birthday and i want to make a special dessert for her.
I am lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, allergic to all nuts, and when I eat peanuts I go into anifilatic shock {thank god it has never happened}, and I have athsma. IT SUCKS!
Ben, you never fail to impress me with your inventiveness. So many of your recipes are naturally gluten-free anyway, but you manage to make things like GF baking simple and achievable (when so often I give up at the complicated-ness of a recipe before I even start). Thank you! These biscuits (and the jelly) are *definitely* going on the list.
Thanks so much for making a recipe that I don't have to modify! I love it when I can just cook one of your recipes without changing anything! Thanks for being gluten friendly every once in a while :)
Ummm I dont understand grams and milliliters since I live in the US and when i go online to fine a converter it just makes weird measurements such as 2.485464564 cups so could you make a little converter in the bottom bar of what it sall equal to in the US?? If you live in the United States Like this so we can make these recipies too ! Thanksssss
Hey can you guys do a meatloaf recipe that doesn't taste like a bland crappy brick. Meatloaf is so easy but nobody likes it cuz it tastes so bland and heavy. Thanks so much
you guys should try to make rose pedel jam it was popular during ww2 you use rose pedals from roses,,(but you would have to grow your own roses.. to make sure there clean and safe)
Hey, I wonder if I could translate your recipes into French (add subtitles on the videos or do a blog linked to yours)? a lot of people I know are absolutely in love with your ideas but they don't understad a thing and I'm sure they would not be the only ones.
Hey, I wonder if I could translate some of your recipes into French, a lot of people I know absolutely like the ideas but they don't understand a thing and well, I'm not a living translator^^.
my mum is a celiac (fancy name for gluten intolerant)
and we get gluten free flour, which is made from rice and potatoes, and we use it all the time! there is a very tiny difference in texture but other than that it's like your eating a gluteny muffin!
@YunaTsukiyuoTenshi Yep, there are loads of great substitutes available for coeliacs and hose which other intolerances. Rice flour is a top example! :D
This looks rather amazing :) But could you use a vegetarian substitute for the gelatin? I've heard about 'agar agar' but am unsure as to how much of it to use for this recipe :/
I'm only 16, but had a go at the inside out burgers at the weekend and loved them, as did my family! We all have different favourite cheeses so I bought tiny pieces of different ones from the supermarket deli and used them; sage derby, pepperjack and cranberry stilton. They went down really well with everyone, I will be making them again soon! Thank you so much. :)
@ivyloves4eva it won't really be hot since you've added the cold soya milk by this point. But it will be warm. Leave it to cool slightly if you have a really full fridge, but otherwise it won't make enough of a difference with 6 small jellies.
Gelatin is often made from animal by products. Do you know of anything that can be used by vegetarians as replacement for it in this and other recipes?
@BeBopALula1 Agar agar acts in much the same way, but has a different texture, quite solid, almost crunchy. It's made from seaweed/algae. The creaminess of the coconut milk may improve the texture of the agar agar. Also known as kanten, sometimes sold as vegetarian/chinese gelatin. Available in health food, Asian and Indian specialty stores if not in the baking aisle at your local.
