@echrs915 I'm not really sure if you can of not. I have only tried with a legit copy. I downloaded some free NS7 mappers from the VDJ site that i accessed only by logging in to the site. Another thing that you will need to do is connect the NS7 to your comp and install ITCH (that generally comes with VDJ)...when you do this the drivers for the NS7 should install also. Hope this helps...Let me know if you have more questions :D
I have only used itch since I was familiar with scratch. But I was always curious on the virtual software. How do you like it? I am always interested in trying new programs... All my friends use serato scratch because all the local clubs are set up for it. But being a mobile Dj, I find ns7 the mobile champ... Oh yeah, what's the cost on Virtual?
@gibbee1 Once i got it fully setup it works great. B/c the NS7 is made for itch, it took a little bit of research to get the controller mapped out right. It was easy as copy and pasting a mapper into the right folder.
As a program...i LOVE it!!! They have a few different versions...home version is free. ( I would get that to demo it if i was you)...the most extensive one is the pro version (which i have) it cost 300.
I think that set up is the best of both worlds... I went from vinyl on 1200's to the Ns7. I do alot of mobile gigs, so the small setup with speakers and lighting fit in my Xb.. Thank god for the NS7...

@gibbee1 This is my first deck and it's great! I also do a lot of weddings and other dance. It's an awesome mobile setup! Do you use VDJ or ITCH?
