Oh, Lynn!! That is just the sweetest monkey EVER!! Did you actually use socks to make it? Or just fabric? I love it! Those striped socks look like big cozy slipper socks...I bet they'd be warm! So nice to see a video from you! Please keep them coming!...Nancy :o)

@nickelnook1 Thank you Nancy! I did use socks. And as for the striped socks, I changed my mind on those for now.... The more I looked at them, the more I wasn't sure how they will turn out. The entire foot is squared! At the toes and the heal. I haven't ever seen any like them. So thankful for sweet viewers like you! awe yours looks so darn cute!!! love it! those socks are so cute. i think you can make a monkey out of those. id love to see it done!!! i hand sewed all of my daughters monkey lol. stitched one way then went back down. took awhile by hand but it was worth the look on my little girls face. tfs

@stephanoid69 Thank you Stephanie! I know it takes a long time to hand stich. I used my machine to sew the legs and arms, the I hand stiched everything else. I spent like 8 hours on this monkey! lol I was good and tired! It was my first, so I am hoping my next one will go a bit faster. :) To be honest, I think the hand stiching is better than using sewing machine. unless a stich is used that will prevent the sock from raveling. I will make another one tomorrow. :) Been doing other things 2day.
