Well somehow most American muscle cars are compared to Porsche to prove how good they are, how fast they are, how much more value they offer. Bottom line is you buy American muscle if you can't afford European. I am not saying one is better than the other. depends, the are limited parts and parts that are limited depend on how much traffic there is, those parts are equipped with digital speed limit signs that show how fast you may drive or if it is unlimited, depends on traffic or rain.
And there are parts that are permanently unlimited and parts that are permanently limited.
It is awesome to be able to drive as fast as you can go legaly

Well somehow most American muscle cars are compared to Porsche to prove how good they are, how fast they are, how much more value they offer. Bottom line is you buy American muscle if you can't afford European. I am not saying one is better than the other. All I am saying is Europeans are more expensive and you can only afford European muscle if your income is above a certain threshold. That is why I spent 70k on my vette.

OK dude my bad, just replace "European muscle" with "European sports car". But it makes no difference. I bought a Corvette because it looked good and it was a steal for 70k. Not because it was American, not because it was called a "muscle car", not becasue it was "high quality". The point is I can't drive to my manager's house with a vette and tell him my car is faster. But it is perfectly OK to go with a Porsche/Mercedes/BMW even if it does not have that much "muscle". I hope you get it.

@fbhorton1990 Also, something to note, the new Zeta platform that the Camaro rides on was engineered by Holden, in Australia. They still have muscle cars there today. The Commodore over there came here as first the GTO in 2004. And then the G8. And will be again, though it is not known as to what namesake it will wear this time. There has been speculation that it may come over as a new Chevelle, though I doubt that.

respect for American cars, the only part i didn't like in the commercial is when the Carrera Gt took the right lane for the GT500 to pass. this is as if dodge says that its mustang is faster than the Carrera Gt. there was no need for this part, because everyone knows that this is not the case. I believe that the American muscles and European super cars should not be compared to each other, because each one of them has his own merits and weak points, and both are undoubtedly masterpieces.

Well on the Autobahn if you are in the left lane going faster then the traffic slower must go right. the GT driver was just driving per the law in Germany :) that said I sure miss driving there, people in germany know what driving is supposed to be about. that said though the porsche Carrera GT is a 500k euro car, the GT 500 about 50k euros, tops speed Ibeieve is about 330km/h for the Carrera, and about 270 or so for the GT 500. in terms of speed the GT 500 is a great value :)
